It is getting murdered by the PS4 family. I wouldn't be surprised if the Xbox One S is outselling the Pro, simply by virtue of being in a different price bracket (just as the PS4 Slim takes the lion's share of PS4 sales).
Depends how you define architecture. It'll be x86-64, which is the most critical similarity.
What? But Gamingbolt told me the PS4 has been using DDR5 since 2013 ;)
The cockpit in view is one of the most popular mechanisms used to combat motion sickness. Not saying it works for everyone, i'm just pointing at the relationship between 2 of your concerns.
It probably is. Most 7.1 headsets have an option to disable the on-board virtual surround processing so you can play a 2.1 source directly.
5 months is plenty. If anything the trend to reveal trailers even earlier than that is annoying.
Besides which, I'm not sure anyone in the industry knows more about how to market and sell games than Activision.
Me too. I can't stand the thought of anybody having fun on a PC. Makes me sick to my stomach. ARGH! You've made me all angry (and a little bit horny) just thinking about it!
I was underwhelmed by Destiny, but I have a sneaking suspicion that Destiny 2 is going to be fantastic. And expensive, obviously.
I happen to own Rocket League on all 3 platforms, and they released a 5gig patch the other day. Steam and Xbox Live both delivered the patch in ~5minutes. PSN took about 30 minutes. I also get about 20ms lower latency when playing the game on the PC compared to PS4. And of course I don't pay a subscription for the privelege.
(I own it on 3 platforms because I got it free/bundled on PS and PC, and my kids wanted it on their Xbox.)
And what, you think you own the games you buy on a disc? Try using some of the code you bought in your own projects and see how far you get...
Sony discount their own games pretty quickly, and relatively steeply. There is an "only on playstation" sale right at this minute (UK) that includes discounts on recent releases like TLG and Gravity Rush 2, as well as real bargain prices on older titles like Uncharted 4.
I don't disagree with you though. An open, competitive digital market would make a huge difference, as would giving retail chains a bit of a cold shoulder.
@Naruga you're right, those discs on a shelf in your bedroom definitely represent the most safe and secure data storage in the known universe. Bullet proof.
Discs are still an important option for games, and an even more important option for movies (where it actually makes a difference to quality). The disc drive isn't an expensive component anyway.
I find one ass and two tits about right, but... whatever floats your boat.

2nd. Removing frame rate caps is always first, only once the game plays properly do they focus on nude mods.
What is typical EA? In Battlefront and Battlefield 1 they have some of the best looking games available on each respective platform. Frostbyte is a very impressive multiplatform engine.
Mass Effect Andromeda runs at a much higher resolution on the Pro. How much additional resource do you think they should throw at that relatively small audience, given they already clearly spread themselves too thin?
It seems silly to miss out on the game just because the internet is whinging. The whole trilogy had "bad" facial animations, and it seems you enjoyed playing them.
Not saying HTC are right or wrong, but Vive Arcade was the first game from Vive's own studios and it does actually natively support the Rift and touch controllers.
"GameStop say product they will sell is good and you should buy it".
GameStop do this for every console release, save perhaps the original Xbox One that threatened their second hand cash cow.
Love this game.
