Sorry, I didn't quite catch that. PC Master what?
Want. Unless LG can out-do them in a similar time frame.
What I said wasn't actually a slight on the PS3 at all. It was a slight on the pre-release hype. Subtle but clear difference, and 100% relevant in the context of the post I replied to.
What do you mean the PS3 did deliver dual screen output and display 120fps? This is the only news here.
Sure I do. He's speaking English.
Would you kindly keep playing until you finish it?
Right, I'm sure "RealGamerNewz" are rolling around in bags of cash for this effort :-/
Before the PS3 launched it was amazing. 2 HDMI ports, so the 120fps Toy Story quality graphics games could run on 2 screens. Before the PS3 came out it made the 360 look like a limping duck.
"Just wait til Lair comes out" :p
You could easily argue that a game bucking the trend and expectations is more newsworthy than another game being better on the X.
And lower settings on various graphics options as well, according to the DF video.
Devs also say it scales down to 50% of 4k with a lower limit of 1080p.
A) 1080p is 25% of 4k
B) what's the betting it spends a lot of time at that lower limit, as per the DF pixel counting analysis?
I quite like the efforts they went to for Redout in VR, but I think DF have caught them with their pants down.
Seconded
lol is that so? Interesting indeed.... I happen to have 2 :)
"Xbox take a screenshot" and "Xbox record that" are the only functions I'll miss... And I'm already over it.
"The console features 512 MB of GDDR3 RAM clocked at 700 MHz with an effective transmission rate of 1.4 GHz on a 128-bit bus. The memory is shared by the CPU and the GPU via the unified memory architecture. This memory is produced by either Samsung or Qimonda."
Sony asked devs what they wanted of the PS4, and the devs said "make it more like the 360, with a unified memory pool". Sony listened, and it worked out well.

@Moon, you're putting words into my mouth. If anything my comment refutes the significance of "platform wars". The success is definitely down to the quality of the game. It is the epitome of "easy to learn, difficult to master". Highly accessible and fun, with a lofty skill ceiling.
However, it would not have hit 40 million users at this point on any single platform. IF you want to attribute the numbers to the platforms the game was published to (as ...
The 360 had unified GDDR memory...
These books sound awesome...
I wish I could read.
I thought you might finish your sentence and I didn't want to interrupt, but 2 hours have passed and it hasn't happened yet so I'll help you out:
".... And PC, and Xbox, and Switch."
Sorry if I cut across you whilst stating the obvious.
Were you per chance still on the tramadol when you wrote this?
Seriously, I've endured painkiller-induced nightmares and I know it isn't fun times. Hope it is all behind you now.
