I already subscribe to the Game Pass, and don't anticipate that I'll stop any time soon. Even if I did want to stop subscribing, no doubt the game would be cheaper by that point.
So the pre-order is basically a waste of money for me. No big deal, I'll find a non-subscriber (most likey a PC gamer) to give it to.
@Obscure_Observer Last time I checked (about 30 seconds ago) it worked. If you subscribe to Game Pass on Xbox you can play the games that support Crossbuy games on PC. It even has a "free with gamepass" label on the Windows store.
I don't think Microsoft have ever confirmed that being the case though, and I wouldn't bank on it staying that way forever. Hopefully Microsoft will be able to extend the service to PC properly in the near future.
Aha ha that's such a cringeworthy response. I think I actually feel pity for you.
Are we approaching the bottom of the slippery slope we were warned about?
Please be careful. If you keep reaching like that you might dislocate something.
Awesome.
I regret pre-ordering Sea of Thieves from CDKeys the other day... but still, this is an awesome move.
Of course not... If only you were great enough to be an Xbox gamer then you'd already understand the flaw in your logic.
What a cruel irony.
No no, the mechanics are the same. It plays better on Xbox because Xbox players are smarter and better at everything.
Halo 5 loot boxes are fairly inoffensive. I actually agree that they should be recognised as pay to win smegboxes, but they're tucked away in the casual, accessible game mode. The competitive modes are kept pure and honest.
It really isn't a bad trade-off for the free map packs.
Lol no I'm not serious, don't worry. I doubt there is anyone that cares about the Halo story, likes games (enough to visit N4G), and hasn't played the game yet. And if that person exists then they'd be really stupid to read the comments on an article about Halo 6 ;)
Nonsense! Cortana is dead.
I can't wait to play the Halo 5 campaign. I hope nobody posts any legit spoilers before tomorrow.
That is a very moving story. I feel closer to you now than ever before. Thank you.
They aren't saying there are no loot boxes. Halo 5 has loot boxes.
They are saying a rumour that was going around about a knee-jerk reaction to the Battlefront 2 controversy has no basis in reality. Nothing more, nothing less.
He didn't mention Forza at all you mahoosive trollcake.
The majority of reviews said the game had great driving, great graphics, but less content than it's contemporaries and predecessors. Doesn't seem too far south of the truth to me.
Forza Horizon games are all the evidence required to prove the 1st/3rd party distinction isn't as vital as some people suggest. Playground are 3rd party, and the games Microsoft paid them to make have been exceptional.
I don't care where my good games come from, so long as I get them :)
But the critics gave it pretty good scores?
Yeah but Sony are a publicly traded company, so by definition "it's a commercial decision" basically means it is for the best interest of the stock holders.
Sony are legally obliged to act in the best interest of their stock holders, so I don't really see the problem or where you are coming from with the correction.
Well yeah, if you want to dumb it down for the layman.
Allegedly, but the Fortnite FAQ has consistently maintained that crossplay isn't available in any circumstances between any platforms. The PC/PS4 crossplay has been on again off again for a while, and last I heard it was off.
What IS supported is cross-progression between PS4 and PC. MS block that, because it allows people to circumvent their store when buying the virtual items.
Money saved is money you can use to buy some music CDs and maybe a DVD or 2. Get in there before the music and film industries run out of money and stop producing new content.
