The whole Xbox division is a cover. Almost all of that $1billion went straight into Phil Spencer's personal rejuvenation fund, while an intern made Crimson Dragon.

Hard to believe Phil is 138 years old.... the treatments get more expensive by the year though.

Every year has "the greatest line up in Xbox history".

Except 2017. Even the Xbox PR team couldn't say good things about 2017 with a straight face.

I'm not sure pre-ordering the game at this point counts as "sensible consumerism".... But I've done it anyway :)

Right. But the baked shadows in GT Sport are fine. Correct?

Oh I'm nobody. That's why I said please :)

Worth a try.

Please stop saying "DA".

Also "X Kings".

Also "plentiful ruby", if you intend to use that more than once?

Actually it might be best if you just stop posting comments altogether.

The same magic dust that enabled FH2 and probably 3 to run at 1080p with 4xMSAA on the base Xbox. That was already pretty remarkable, relative to other games on the platform.

The magic dust is called "Forward rendering".

Tis likely Microsoft have 1 or 2 games for the "holiday season" still to announce (incl FH4). It's definitely a much better year for them than 2017, but then it'd be tough to go backward from there.

Sony have taken flight though, and Nintendo seem pretty infallible at the moment too. 2018 should be a good year for flat screeners all round.

Personally I'm hoping for some more VR games, but there isn't much visible on the horizon. ...

... Midler lawsuit cause catastrophic damage to their financial position and reputation?".

I'm gonna have to take your first answer. That's a pretty bold prediction.

This is my favourite bit:

"MS and its core supporters fail to see this yet cannot understand the pain they feel".

The guy actually thinks people using the Xbox are suffering pain lol.

touché :)

Tis good to recognise that they're both full of crap.

See? Pretty much said it himself. He uses PC as a "rock to hit people with" cos he sees people enjoying a console, and feels a need to attack them.

Precious.

PC has been his rock since the X came out. He was quite satisfied with his PS4 until then lol.

Stop calling it 1080p. It is "very dynamic 4k". Thanks.

2932d ago 18 agree13 disagreeView comment

It isn't "720p worth of resolution". It is far far more.

2932d ago 20 agree8 disagreeView comment

I think it will. But mostly because a lot of us expect it to be crap.

"What does price have to do with the cost of tea in China when image quality matters more than anything else? 4K seems to be all they care about."

Well.... It is the amount you have to pay to get it. That seems astoundingly obvious, but I'm not gonna judge you.

Any multiplatform game with Dolby Atmos justifies it. Unless you're genuinely satisfied with the One S?
