Well, technically only if a 5 is actually the average score of all video games reviewed. If the scores are skewed towards a higher number e.g. 7 average then we have 8, 9, 10 to show exceeding it, and simply more categories of bad to terrible below it.
tldr; 5 is the median and average number in the literal scale 0-10, but not necessarily the applied scale in videogames.
Here's the thing though, VR can't just be another way of displaying a visual image in front of you, or replacing the mouse to look/analogue stick with a turn of the head. It has to be done for a purpose and the way you control the game naturally changes.

It's obvious however that you haven't played all of the above so you've missed out on a LOT of content so I'm not sure why it's weird that you did that in 6 hours, I'd be hard pressed to complete all the base story missions in that time.
I'll admit, I bought into it expecting more of a traditional MMORPG feel with quests etc. I knew it wouldn't be WoW levels with open maps and hundreds of people running around cities (though tbh I hoped having seen the city below the tower) as that would blow up the consoles I imagine :p

Think of it this way. If they include a years PSN then you also include a years worth of free games like them or hate them. This means that people will buy less games at retail, too many lost retail sales will stall development and make it riskier.
Instead they know that people will buy the PS for the games and PSN for multiplayer (with free games an afterthought for most).

Seriously though, this is a fledgling commercial endeavor for all involved. We need as few weak links as possible, if someone mainstream does this poorly it can damage the image of everyone else. Sony is known for good games, good consoles (and good TV's etc. even if their other divisions aren't as profitable). That can cross over to this device as well.

@3.1.1 having cinematics isn't enough to move the story forward, the problem with Destiny for me has always been that the story is basically what one zone would be on any other story based game. Destony is more like Warframe, there's a basic concept and rough storylines in the game (Go here, get this, kill this because evil people) but that doesn't make it a STORY.
Compare that to any other 'story' driven game that's online, heck I'd say even LoL ...
Well...I don't have a Gjally as I was on holiday camping when Xur came out, I'd stopped playing as I was bored, was considering coming back for 2.0 but then realized that with 90% of everyone having Gjallys now I'm going to be insta kicked.
On the other hand I happen to like it, haven't played too much of it yet as I've had limited time but it was my understanding that it was a playable mystery, where you explored environments to uncover what happened to the village, I wasn't planning on hunting for keys or solving puzzles to unlock boxes etc. just to meander my way through a pretty environment and enjoy the ride, for the $17 it cost me that's what I'm doing (20% off pre-order).

I have a PS3 and a PS4, my PS3 NEVER gets used any more (except so my wife can stream netflix etc.) I try to play PS3 games but they just look so old and out of date, and load slow, I guess I'm not one for nostalgia. I think there's something timeless about the 8/16 bit era that doesn't translate into the 3D PSone/2/3 gens (At least for me, there are a few exceptions but they're far between).

Let's do some napkin math. Say you don't game in the morning as you're getting your family ready etc. and you get home at 5pm (avg 9-5 job, your mileage may vary).
