@3.1.1 Death - I think it's naive to say that if you don't currently own the equipment you're not interested in VR. What if I just didn't want the PS4/1.5k on a gaming pc but, since google cardboard, samsung gear etc. I'm really frothing at the bit to get into it?
Look at the reviews for GearVR, and that's really just 'ok', they're mostly singing it's praises. These are the people who might want to join, and the article is saying th...
Huh, looks like the only one I can't do is 'A' due to lack of DS4 controllers, I imagine that's for asynchronous multiplayer however and I never care about that. Bought my moves years ago for the ps3 and got the camera for the ps4 as I'm a completionist when it comes to things like that :) Hopefully it all comes together (and I have a big enough tax return to put some money aside...)
Better stock up on Soylent...
Where do the dips happen for you? I haven't actually had any that I've noticed yet, is it post diamond city as I'm about to reach that.
So...you're agreeing then?
Holy crap, I got P4G a couple of years ago, I like story based games and I'd heard that this one had lowered the 'omg you have to do X on this day only or you're screwed' level so I went for it. I got to a certain part of the game and thought "Oh this must be the end" and then BAM another 40 hours of gameplay...I think I spent 80-90 hours on that game, it just never seemed to end and NOTHING is really filler.
Without spoiling something though, the e...
So...for the AI you're saying that humanoids are smarter than animals? What's the problem there?
I personally enjoy the building, haven't done much of it but I don't have a lot of free time. You might not like it but a whoooole lot of people like minecraft (I'm not one of them) so the building aspect obviously has an appeal.
About when development complexity skyrocketed. Being able to release a ps2/xbox/n64 era game with no bugs was much, MUCH easier than releasing something like TW3, Skyrim, F4 etc.
It's almost not even comparable. How on earth do you find a bug that may only arise in a certain subset of choices but only if another choice was made 40 hours ago for example, compared to "oh you fell through this floor, also a trigger flag is missing here".
As com...
Or what it meant to be a 10 changed from being perfect (virtually impossible but a bit easier and a simpler time for hardware/bugs) to being a must own with few flaws that are easily overlooked because of how good the whole is. It's a must play even for people who normally wouldn't etc.
I don't know how much it will affect it but the PSVR has it's own processor as well, though I don't believe they've said what it's used for.
They will be curated from some of the higher rated ones, hence the one click streamlined download. I can't remember where I read it but it was an interview article. We won't get every one, rather those that have been tested and found to perform well, you can't go breaking random console games or easily install/uninstall patches as you go like the pc.
Alas no furry/Thomas mods for those who are into that. PC will still be the place to go for Mods.
It's cynical of me but I read your comment in kind of a jerky eye motion because I was suspicious of you putting it in the middle :p like a "watch out for ending spoilersSPOILERpeople are doing that"
This...this is in the trailer guys.
Okay off the top of my head:
We're talking surface area here, if you add in vertical dimensions then who knows as we don't know the amount of time spend under/above ground level (+ is there any instancing? A loading screen could can hide a much larger explorable space, think about the VR vault in F3.)
What about speed of travel? In Skyrim I felt like I was running through mud it was so slow, same in DA:I. If I dropped a F-21 into those games I'...
A) I assume that they refer to the fact that consoles have minimum overhead and no changed specifications and so the developers know exactly what boundaries and bottlenecks they are developing for, when I play a pc game and my AV is interacting with my drivers and causing a problem then the devs don't know that's going to happen, hence graphical sliders and a requirement overhead that everyone always moans about.
B) High Res / High FX / High FPS. Pick 2. If you '...
Exactly this, everyone says wait wait wait, well I have pretty much 3/4 of tell tales library still there, haven't finished the witcher 3, broken age, pretty much any PS+ game that's been released before the next set are out etc. If you CAN wait, then that's awesome I'm glad that that'll pan out.
For the laser comment, I assume that in order to give the laser enough power to actually do some damage it needs a pretty high powered capacitor, that sound would be a capacitor discharge.
But Halo 5 is actually out...UC4 isn't, what they're saying is that the frame rate was variable in the beta, but it appeared much more stable at the expo, they hadn't done an analysis on the expo video yet though. Unless I'm mistaken.
Ugh...I hope not. Magicka just isn't my cup of tea and I bought TWD2 when they had that huge telltale sale for like 80% off (All GoT, TWD, Borderlands, the wolf/fairytale one.) I mean great for people who haven't played it (and I STILL haven't gotten around to it) but it seems odd to give a season 2 when 1 was never free...I know it's kind of stand alone (no spoilers) but it relies heavily on the events of 1 for setup.
Well, if you're talking about being on a journey and watching movies/projecting game screens then actually I'd like VR instead of AR. Why would I want my game overlaid on top of random surroundings (which looking at the Hololens might not work so well as the 'windows' seem to snap to flat surfaces which aren't in ready supply on the move).
Wouldn't it be better to effectively sit in a dark cinema with surround sound and watch your movie, or project yo...
