What about League of Legends?
@1.1.2 Then the trailer is at fault for making it appear to be a horror. What if I went to see a fantasy movie as I was shown dragons and magic etc. but instead it turns out that it was just some kid playing a video game and actually it's about his angst getting a girl to go with him to the prom and that's a metaphor for his struggle.
Fine if they sold it as such, but if all I saw were dragons and magic etc. then I'm right to be pissed off if I spend money to see...
I added slip on grips to my thumbsticks and that's solved the rubber issue (as I had a day one controller). The eject fault however used to drive me crazy...I power cycled it, took the rubber foot off the front, elevated the console, tightened the screw on the manual eject, it would be fine for a few weeks and then I'd have to do it again (I used to just keep the lid half off). For some reason after the last couple of updates it's just...stopped.
I have no idea...
Honest question, what stability update was needed? I don't think I've ever had anything crash on me (outside of hulu/crunchyroll). On the other hand I just realized I haven't had that stupid disc eject bug since the last big update :O
If Nintendo just made a console like the PS4 then noone is going to buy it...you'll have Sony/Xbox fans sticking with their own purchase, and Nintendo WiiU fans feeling burnt from the time before.
Most people don't purchase 2 consoles, idc what the internet looks like or who posts/replies with "Peon, I have all 3 and a pc, and my own house, car, supermodel gf etc." the average person has one, MAYBE a pc as well so it definitely matters about the power.
So what you're saying is...there'd be another day 1 patch?
@someonecalled So, we should just have let console games stay the size/complexity of their n64/psone counterparts then right?
Because it couldn't possibly be true that by vastly improving the games in every way (graphically, AI, environment, objectives etc.) yet having to keep a similar time frame on development it's made it easier for bugs to slip through. No, bet it was those lazy developers who just don't care about their game.
So...never played them but metacritic puts it at 8.4 critic and 7.7 user (722), isn't that above average?
@kalebninja Doesn't the HTC Vive work with those 2 projectors to give a 15 cube foot volume?
I don't think it can be, simply based on the fact that VR is being pursued by so many other companies that Sony can't afford to simply let it be dead in the water. Unless it dies on all those other companies too.
What will really be the decider I feel is the type of motion peripherals that arise and what systems can adopt them.
@Timesplitter14 Wow...my eyes must be worse than I thought because I didn't think that my note 4 in google cardboard was that bad, okay I know it has a good screen but it's being displayed through 2 glass/perspex lenses.
So wait, have they changed the frankly horrendous limited Field of View? From what I saw last time what they showed on their demo it was pretty terrible, like a small window hanging in the air.

Holy crap that's some useless clickbait, it's not even funny. 1) F4 is set in Boston, 2) Boston is set in Massachusetts. etc.
Interestingly I tried doing that to prepare for KH3 and I just couldn't play it again, being in a 'box' level was just so apparent and immersion breaking. I remember playing it for days with a friend in college and being transfixed until the end credits, now I couldn't get past halloween town and muster enthusiasm.
@Wolfy
But you can choose to have only 15 items on there, surely it can't be that cluttered, I don't even scroll past the screen normally to be honest. I don't see why they don't just make it a selectable option however, ranging from 5,6,7...15-all. Then everyone would be happy.
Yeah, but your body/brain is NOT going to be happy thinking that it's spinning around/being ragdolled while it feels like it's not moving anywhere. Fast track to being sick as a dog.
Ugh I think that would lead to projectile vomiting very quickly.
Well, you'll see all the new changes/adds etc. but I'm pretty sure you're not running the missions...The login screen will say TTK etc. but if you didn't have that massive 16gb patch you wouldn't be able to see everyone who had the DLC.
I think that FF VIII was the pinnacle of the series, even with the obligatory brooding asshole main character, though he did mature through the series. Everything about it just felt thought out, like it was a world where this shit just happened and everyone is trying to get through it, the other games just felt too high fantasy, like it was just another everyday occurrence to the inhabitants.
Should have set it in Cleveland...I hear that at least they're not Detroit.
