Well, I am wrong - Stray is coming to both Extra and Premium.
Straight on Sony's Twitter, apologies for not checking that before blurting out a wrong example.
Microsoft has $70 billion worth of things they could say about Kotick. But like how business is business, they leapt at the chance to get a good price over standing up for the values they project in press releases.
It's one of those things where the bump from Extra to Premium is smaller from Essential to Extra, so if you go up one tier it's in that "might as well" price range.
That $20 difference can be perceived as "wiped away" when in just a month we'll get the $29 or $39 Stray added to Premium, which is something we didn't know about when Sony first announced the service.
My straight co-worker asked me a while back how I felt about pride nights at sports arenas, because I am the only gay person he knows and talks to. His perspective - it's not needed, because *he* doesn't discriminate and doesn't understand why people do discriminate. Therefore, because he's "cool with it", he doesn't want to see it impacting his sports, because "sports are sports."
I asked him to name me a single publicly-out player i...
... And it's a team-based multiplayer looter shooter.
Absolutely zero interest, shame Hyenas is what this turned out to be.
Yakuza 0 was really great (gameplay, writing, graphics, length - nice package all around), coming from someone that hasn't played another entry in the franchise. Played it on my Series S last year, good time
I bet the former too - it's been less than a month since they refreshed Design Lab with more colors and patterns. They wouldn't update Design Lab twice in the same month or even twice in the same fiscal quarter, and they wouldn't bring out a new base controller without doing something there.
Unrelated, I would like an Elite Series 3 sooner than later
I've got a strong inkling that the only kind of black representation at this Seattle-area game developer is a white person grandstanding about Juneteenth after they learned about it on Twitter two years ago.
You're not wrong. At the same time, Fallout and Elder Scrolls have generally been compromised on PS platforms - policies around mod support in the PS4 era, all the bugs/performance issues in the PS3 era
It's a match that at least makes sense given their PC history and Xbox-first approach to consoles. And their lack of polish...
The M1 chip is being used in iPads to expand the VRAM available to the OS - RAM + internal storage.
PS5's SSD is blazing as it is, but Xbox could certainly release a faster SSD to catch up, as it's PCIE 4.0 compliant. Maybe Pro models can then leverage PCIE 5.0 and the benefits of expanded internal interoperability with Zen 4 / RDNA 3.
Hellblade 2 is the only one there I feel very confident about too... Everwild the least.
I'm not disappointed about their Showcase regardless of context, but it would be nice to know more about those far-away titles. It feels like each was announced as it got green lit.
You only need Ultimate and a controller of some kind. It should accept your DualSense as that's just a Bluetooth controller.
That's how it is on phones, too. The upcoming tv app goes a step further and even includes a DualSense layout for setup.
Resident Evil: Part 1
Yeah, I'm hyped for this too. Third playthrough in third person will be pretty fitting.
I back-to-back'd Village last year when it came out - PC version with the crappy DRM at the time. Was about to do another run through on the hardest difficulty on NG++ but guess I'll wait now for that 3rd person mode :) Then of course another once that VR mode is out on PSVR2.
"What's the biggest inspiration for Sonic going open-zone"
"Battlefield V"

"MTX are only cosmetics"
Blizzard has done enough wrong that they can't just say things anymore. I like what I've heard of Diablo IV so far, I like even more that gameplay video from yesterday, *BUT* they do not have my trust one bit. Release the beta, release the game, and we'll see how many seasons it takes before that promise is rolled back. I'll give them two.
If by then it still seems solid, or it miraculously launches as ev...
Well, I'll admit I deserve these downvotes. The UI has a couple inconsistent labels. So, don't make my mistake (not that I have to tell you guys since... yeah)
Explore -> Game Catalog (first square, not the third) - I'm not seeing Ape Escape appear in this, for example. But it shows "All Games" in the top left. This is the 70-ish shows I first saw.
Classic Games (2nd square) - Yes we see PS1/2/P games here.
Cloud Streaming (4th squ...
Based on the 5 titles per row it fits on the screen and the 70-ish rows of content in "All games", we're looking at under 400 titles right now
DualSense and three graphics modes, including Ray Tracing targeting up to 60 and High Framerate going above 60.
Ghost didn't have RT or frame rate higher than 60, Control had RT with a 30fps cap
