It's 2020 not 2014 - hope for a PS5 Enhanced Patch, not a re-release for us to buy again.
The negative ones, those 0/10s are never from people being genuine.
It's people who spoiled it for themselves watching or reading leaks. People who are entitled thinks it's "their" story that Naughty Dog ruined with wokeness.
But they'll never admit they were flat out wrong about that trans narrative they tried to push.
Yeah, which makes it hard to know if there'll be any consistency from 3rd parties. Xbox has a clearly defined directive from the top to set the example. Based on what it sounds like, I'll assume it won't be functionally different than how Xbox will do it, unless publishers insist on being like EA as the first year moves along
We don't really know how the mechanism will be for PS5, though. Will the PS5 "version" be a unique SKU that's accessible for owners of the PS4 SKU, unlocked through Cross-Buy? Or will it be a PS4 SKU that has a PS5 enhancement just like how it has a PS4 Pro enhancement? Or will it be both depending on publisher, and EA's approach will be what PS owners can expect across the board?
You seem less that you like PlayStation, and more that you just hate Xbox. It comes off as anger, actually, over things you don't even have right.
Gears 5 and Tactics. Ori and the Will of the Wasps - three of their last 5 or so releases, obviously none of these are shovelware.
Only games for the first two years will be cross generational. This policy only impacts early adopters and guess what? The PS5's only real Sony-published exclusive at launch...
There are hundreds of games still worth playing over the decades, especially over this gen and last.
When it comes to last gen, I can only play those games today on one modern platform. And I will still with Series X and they'll be even better. Respecting my purchases over the majority of my lifetime is very important.
How are Xbox's *current* policies and options anti-consumer?
- Support for discs and games going back to 2001, enhanced with higher resolutions, better framerates, and on Series X, AI-based HDR
- Xbox Game Pass consistently has great AAA titles, even as some come and go. It's also almost always on sale
- Design Lab for custom controllers with variations on textures and colors
- Pro-level Elite Controller with certain swappable parts
I wonder if Horizon 2 and BOTW2 will go up against each other again
Both the left and the right were upset about violence in video games, about a decade ago. But it was the right side of the political spectrum that actually led the lawsuits (Jack Thompson, y'all remember him) because of the *sex* parts of the games. Not the killing, the boobies.
Now, it's very different than back then, but it's not about violence or boobies anymore. By and large mainstream culture has come around and only idiotic politicians still try to tie vio...
Right-wing... anti-censorship... good lord, have you been under a rock since 2016? Jeeze just search the web for "Section 230", or look up a certain famous Twitter user (you'll know you're on the right account when you scroll through text walls of ALL CAPS and the ocassional marked-for-violation tweets)
I never got to Destiny 2, but D1 annoyed me enough with that same loading screen.
As they say, nothing is confirmed yet but let's hope there is a 60fps option at all.
I have no idea how to price the Series X without knowing if a Series S could come. I'd bet Sony could get away with $449/$499Digital - $549/$599 Disc. They priced PS3 SKUs on that upper end and still came out on top.
Before and after some cutscenes too. Initial load is terrible in plenty of games, TLOU Remastered feels easily over a minute
I wish it would be a new one, but a Skyrim PS5VR where you can push a door and walk inside will be what we get lol
Y'all know this means Skyrim will have a new release, no more loading when opening a door.
The Outer Worlds and Final Fantasy VII Remake have some of the worst mirrors - they're like gray slates.
Super Mario Odyssey and TLOU Remastered have only one or two mirrors each (SM - inside the ship, TLOU - in the house at the start of the game) but they look like actual mirrors and the games don't stutter when looking through them. Small rooms so maybe it's easier to duplicate the character model and reverse the inputs like old-school Duke Nukem 3D.

The lighting is the biggest difference - even in that thumbnail we see the lighting be that much more natural and Sport's is harsher
Eh, it's a good counterbalance to the AC:Valhalla 4k/30fps narrative.
Which all boils down to exactly what AK91 suggests.
Even after release, some morons are still trying to push the trans narrative? Jeeze. What kind of people do we think are going to survive in the apocalypse? Brittle damsels?
