People have spoiled the game on here in comments like this :/
It sucks. I read the spoilers day one, it took 3 days before it would've been ruined for me on here
It's obvious they've at least been testing something like a Series S, to hold out on announcing makes me think they still don't even know.
The PS5 being slightly 'weaker' than XSX in power and Sony publicly being uncertain on pricing could've made MS feel confident in just a single SKU. But with Covid disrupting the global economy, maybe that could push them to want a cheaper SKU, putting those plans back on track?
If the rumors pr...
If only companies did this physical games with those included day-one DLC slips, especially if they have multiple...
I'll either forget I redeemed it or won't remember if I redeemed all of the slips.
This makes Destiny 2 the first game to be announced as having a free upgrade from PS4 to 5. Here's to hoping this is a forward to what we can expect for third-party cross-generation titles on PlayStation.
4K60fps, cross-gen same-family multiplayer. Cross-platform play coming in the future. Regardless of opinion on Destiny 2 itself, Bungie's doing a good job in their policy.
Disagree.
After playing all of the Royal Edition, Prompto's Episode doesn't redeen him from the constant annoyance he was about the damn Chocobos early on. If I didn't play the content available though Royal, all of the other party characters would've felt so expendable.
@Lore we are a month away from seeing both officially unveil their first party lineup, waiting is the only objective thing we can do
GamingBolt is a disgrace and if this site had integrity GB would be banned as a source.
@tonton Then you are putting a lot of faith into a 2 second loading screen instead of a 4-5 second one
One game per gen:
NES - Kid Icarus
SNES - Super Mario RPG
N64 - Donkey Kong 64
GC - Star Fox Adventures
Wii - Skyward Sword
Wii U - ... Just port the rest over at this point. What Wii U exclusives are left besides Xenoblade Chronicles X and Pikmin 3?
The dream would be full HD collections. Pikmin Trilogy, the Wii U Zelda ports, the rumored 3D Mario remakes.
It's definitely set up as a once-in-a-generation experience; they want you to feel every moment no matter how gruesome.
The whines of the hurt dogs in the gameplay videos make me want to go through as stealthily as I can.
Ok guys, I get it: Forming your own opinion based on your own experience = Bad.
Letting your opinion be shaped by how others frame it for you = Good.
So did you: the context that makes them all fit together.
In fact, knowing the spoilers because I read them myself, I'm reserving final judgment on it until I can experience it for myself and form my own opinion.
Because... Do I even have to explain the importance of forming our own opinions based on our own experiences? I suppose you're fine with writing things off based on how others shape it for you.
Convince yourself that Naughty Dog and The Last of Us 2 are being treated in any way even remotely comparable to ME: Andromeda (handed off to B-team), anything Blizzard since Activision took over, and anything Bethesda-developed since Skyrim back in 2011. Want to throw Destiny in that disappointment bucket? Publisher greed. Anthem? Very well-known and documented development hell in both management and technology. Your qualms with The Last of Us? The story you haven't played or experienced...
The fans of the original *played* the original.
If they're actually fans, they'll play this one too, instead of being so easily influenced by contextless bullet points and screen grabs. If they think Naughty Dog to be some of the best, they'll give ND's years of effort into building this sequel more weight than random social media losers
The writing in Second Son I didn't mind, and that game took under 20 hours to 100%. It was Deacon's overall behavior and tone, and the writing all around it for the 60-70+ hours this game is.
Rikki went out of her way to bring him into their camp. He acted annoyed and irritated every time she buzzed him on the radio. He came to her, needed her, but he acted bratty the entire game toward her. Unless it was his mission where he needed her again. He acted the same way ...
You're uncomfortable playing as a certain type of human because of the gender of who they kiss. And you label it as "shoving an agenda."
When 5-10% of the human population is this "certain type" of human, and there are fewer than 5-10% of games where you play as that "certain type" of human, how on earth is it "shoving an agenda" down everyone's throat? If Ellie kissed a guy or was just a loveless emotionally-lonely teenager,...
God of War, Spider-Man, Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy both, Infamous: Second Son, Shadow of the Colossus Remake (I'm counting it), Ratchet & Clank (it's a remake too), Bloodborne, and The Last Guardian represent my Top 9 true-exclusives. I'll be playing Infamous First Light this summer so I'm sure that, TLOU2, and GoT will shape that even more. If I included the PS4-PC games, heck yeah all Horizon, Death Stranding, FFVII Remake and even Nioh would make the Top 10.
...
PS5 will absolutely outsell XSX. But I don't think it'll be even wider than this gen since Microsoft is back to caring again.
They nearly outsold PS3 with the 360, when PS2 had a 5-6x sales lead. That's because all the way through about 2010-2011, MS had a first party and influence that was actually productive. We had Rare launch a new IP and a new Perfect Dark. PGR was a great racer. Gears then came. Halo was in its prime. They tried exclusive JRPGs. Forza came...
He should also know that TLOU 1's Bill is gay too, and that first guy who sold the guns that kicked off the journey - ever notice the ear that's pierced?
Tell that to your friend and you'll ruin his weekend haha
Something being "woke" has got to be weakest, most fragile reason to not play something.
Tense, gut-wrenching, brutal in every way, Ellie full badass. Then comes the lesbian kiss and... "Eww omg that's so gross! Trigger warning!"
So... Microsoft should hire Nvidia's marketing?
Gameplay sizzle reels with "Next-Gen On"/"Next-Gen Off"
Triggered by a kiss
