I don't think it's fair to say that if someone's opinion isn't glowing that they're being dishonest for clicks.

Almost finished with my survivor playthrough. This is the way to play, but I'd also like a Grounded mode.
Different devs are excited about different things. This one's liking the RAM increase and I assume RAM type as well. I'm actually glad to be hearing them praising different aspects of these consoles.
I think these developers are just speaking to what's impacting the current projects they're working on most - in this case it happens to be RAM.

I'd also like to add that fanboyism is the reason the Xbox guys care about this more than anyone else. They enjoy being able to say "See, we told you something was up" thereby giving themselves validation and discrediting Epic and Sony.
