This looks like a total blast compared to what was shown previously.
Again, I don't understand the hate for Witcher 3's combat, relatively speaking. It's a typical parry and strike system with spells and potions.
People dislike the gameplay, but is it really that bad? I personally think it's fine. I've enjoyed multiple Death March playthroughs and though I get the criticism to a degree, I don't think the degree to which the combat is attacked is quite warranted.
It really isn't that bad. The fal...
"Sick of the generic repetetive outposts/lighthouses, fetch side quests, borring and unvarried mission structure. Open world fatigue came back quick. Things you don't have to worry about in tlou2"
While I loved GoT, this is a totally valid argument, as it is undeniable that Ghost has a lot of that, but what set GoT apart was its stylized storytelling (think mythic tales) the beauty of its world, the excellent combat, and voice acting. I also thought the custom...
God of War is #1 for me as well.
Absolutely genius way to refresh the series and so well executed.
Same.
Agreed.
So looking forward to PS5.
It's that time again; a new PlayStation is upon us.
I like how after you behead an enemy they can still crawl around.
Then you can end the suffering, lol.
Agreed.
One tap of right on the D-pad and you're in. It's the easiest and least constrictive photo mode I've used, and there are so many options.
I was really looking forward to seeing the potential of Slipspace Engine...
...it's not what I had in mind.
This is the most blatantly disingenuous post I've seen on N4G, and I've seen a lot.
Agreed.
This game is checklisty and formulaic, I'll admit, but it's damn fun, beautiful, and stylized brilliantly. I love the calligraphy, the narration of the tales, and the art shown in said tales. I enjoy the combat very much, and I really hope Sucker Punch continue with this because I'd love a sequel on PS5.
This game is great, and imo, deserves no less than an 8.
Developers refer to "quality" modes as higher resolution, but the gamer may not share that interpretation. For many of us, a higher frame rate is preferred or "quality."
So, while you may be correct in devspeak, not all of us feel the same. With the XSX's power, I'm kinda stumped and disappointed. There should at least be options with all this new horsepower.
I've never liked their take on Halo.
That is abysmal.
They should erase what they wrote what they wanted to write and worked hard on for years? They should decanonize it and write something to your liking?
Hahahaha.
How did they try to make us hate Ellie and Joel?
I still love Joel, and he's still a great and powerful character in the game's world, even though he's dead. I still love Ellie and hope she's finding peace wherever she's hiking at this moment.
I don't think their intention was to make us hate Ellie and Joel at all. I think the message was more along the lines of 'If you hate, you lose' and 'If you let hate consume you, ...
I seriously doubt it.
It actually just got worse.
Really? That's your argument?
Those games were critical masterpieces and masterpieces to gamers. Xbox hasn't gotten anywhere near the standard he mentioned in over a generation! Virtually an entire generation of blandness with Xbox.
Gamers live for releases like those he mentioned, and you're arguing frames and open-world preference?
Sony and PlayStation made the right choices and moves, and provided the console and its users with plenty of excellent content. That's the best we can hope and ask for.
I don't see the people turning away from that, and I anticipate even more excitement for PS5. From PS1 to PS4, it's only gotten better.
