I do enjoy Bloober's games, so I'll probably like this.
Sony are dropping the ball? Really? They're the only ones who even have a ball.
Matt Booty appears and says "Today you've seen 10 new world premiers and 20 new console launch exclusives" and I'm thinking "What?"
They're tooting their own horn again, but nothing that was shown was remarkable. Others let the games do the talking, but Microsoft are showing us unexciting things and then telling us how many unexciting things were shown.
So disappointing, and as of this moment, the Series X isn't even o...
Agreed.
Quite the disappointment.
So far, I'm not at all impressed with this showing.
@Good-Smurf
Agreed; I think many people wanted the Ellie-Joel dream team again, but this is isn't that at all, and I'm very glad for it. I love how dark and brutal it is, and my second playthrough just made me appreciate it all even more. The risk paid off.
Another slam dunk by Naughty Dog with this one.
Lol.
I've seen a few collision bugs here and there, but they're not too common, so I can easily just laugh about it. This little clip is fantastic.
It was awful. This game is one of those head scratchers for me. It was so bland to me in nearly every way.
The return of the classic music was nice, but that's about it, and I enjoyed three of the characters; Jessie, Barret, and Don. The rest of them were cringeworthy.
Aerith with her 'I'm always lecturing a pre-school' vocal tone, and Cloud with his utter aloofness that didn't have an ounce of charm that other stoic protagonists have ...
Definitely has the classic Halo vibe.
Very CE like. I like it.
I've never understood why people care about agrees and disagrees as they're largely meaningless, and, imo, barely serve as a rough metric. They're not conducive to argument or debate and are actually kind of lazy.
Personally, I feel validation when I know that I've made a good point or argument, but if people disagree, that's fine too - that's life.
If The Last of Us Part II isn't in your top ten, that's cool, but you sho...
That's awesome.
At first I wasn't sure if I'd love this, but now I'm absolutely sure that I love it.
Great job by Sucker Punch - I've always liked this studio.
I'm sorry, and this may be an unpopular opinion here, but I thought Concrete Genie was just boring. It's pure artsy-fartsy whimsy, which is fine, but it's not at all engaging on a gameplay level. Small titles can be popular, and there's a reason Concrete Genie isn't.
Days Gone was good. My main issues with the game were polish and stability, but when everything was in order (which wasn't often) it was good.
Never played Furi.
The draw distance is already really good, but perhaps it could be even better on PS5. Easily one of the most beautiful games I've ever played.
Great way to close out the gen for PlayStation.
Agreed, and by the looks of it this is another safe, cookie-cutter shooter with "colorful characters" joining an already crowded sea of them.
This game does absolutely nothing new - nothing at all.
I don't see shooters dying anytime soon.
They're competitive and people love them. I also don't think the rest of the world is content to let Fortnite dominate. They all want to make the next big thing, so they'll keep playing the one-upmanship game, forever.
Honestly, I love difficulty trophies because I like earning them. SotC and Uncharted games had difficult lists that I enjoyed.
As for multiplayer I totally agree; those are annoying, and imo, should be separate from the main game and not tied to platinums if they insist on existing.
I fully expected GoT to have difficulty trophies and was slightly disappointed that it didn't.
It's easy to show a bunch of indies and call it diverse. I seriously hope this is not the case. Seems as though whenever I hear words like "diverse" it always ends up being a bunch of smaller games. Not trying to be negative, but that's my takeaway from that based on previous claims of this and that.
Right now I need Xbox to bring some seriously heavy hitters.
You were too busy drinking Kenji's sake.
I also bought the waffle long sleeve shirt from the store.
Once they release some coffee mugs, they're mine too.
To be honest (and this has nothing to do with any TLOU2 disagreements) I feel the story is the weakest aspect of GoT. The characters are solid, I agree. Written and developed better? Again, matter of preference.
It's definitely beautiful. Whether it's any more or less beautiful than TLOU2 I couldn't say. Think they're both gorgeous games in their own right.
It's definitely fun to fight in this game, as well as take screenshots.
Though somewhat limited, this game is relaxing and enjoyable. Been playing all day and I currently feel irresponsible, lol. Testament to Sucker Punch's great work.
Well said.
If you like Halo and Fable and you're just sorta 'good with it' then this trailer may have sustained you. For me, though, this will be the first time an Xbox launches that I'm definitely going to wait.
As of now I see nothing exciting, and after Hellblade's exciting trailer I was almost certain they'd show a build of gameplay, and they didn't. Unimpressed and disappointed.
