I'm not saying that I think it will. I'm only saying that I hope it doesn't, because anything can happen in manufacturing.
Right now I don't see why it would/should, but you never know. That said, I've never had an issue with a PS4 model, and my launch model still works perfectly, though it's very loud.
I'm not going to miss how the PS4 basically hangs over its own rear ports.
Looks nice.
Let's just hope that launches don't become duds.
"Which is better for you?"
Like we're total idiots and need to be guided. It's disc vs discless and licenses vs physical; we've got it figured out.
That's what I'm doing.
I have no problem sinking hours into Cyberpunk 2077 and AC Valhalla on SX while I wait for the PS5 pre-order rat race to end.
Yyyepp.
@yom
They're both "making use of new capabilities" though.
While I'm personally not offended by what Microsoft and Sony are doing, the fact remains that neither of them really have a NEW, from-the-ground-up game that they can tout.
Demon's Souls looks fantastic, but it's still based on an OLD game.
Spider-Man MM will be on PS4.
Exactly.
They're both cross-genning it. Period.
'But, but, but' Sony nothing. Sony is doing the same as Microsoft. Period.
They're both cross-genning it; I don't care what company you want to fanboy.
Facts are facts.
Same here.
I'll get a PS5 sometime in Q1 or Q2 of next year. I can wait a little while to play Demon's Souls and Spiderman, though I'm very much looking forward to both. I'm not competing for a pre-order.
Game Pass (gonna get it for that one) and multiplats will tide me over in the meantime, and I'll make do with the Series X until then.
@potato
I guess it 'is' about as valuable as your reply.
@Silly
I could see actually see a comment like this if there were something unique going on with the box or packaging, but there isn't.
It's decidedly plain and minimal, and not punchy at all which can be cool, but again, this isn't anything. I'm sure Xbox's box won't be anything that stands out either.
Lol.
That wouldn't surprise me at all; especially here.
'Who won?' they'd ask.
This is obscenely exaggerated.
It's a black box with grey shapes and a picture of the console.
It's not particularly interesting or neat; just a pretty plain box.
Oh yeah man, I'm sure. Everyone's panicking. My neighbor's kid is heartbroken, lol. By March more people will have them and availability will increase and more will have been produced.
Everyone's going to be fine.
I understand people wanting them at launch; they're excited. Still, I'm not going to bother until sometime after March of next year when I have more time to game. They'll be much more readily available by then anyway.
There's nothing you're missing if you don't get a launch model.
I personally make it a point 'not' to buy the first batch of consoles.
But, that's me.
I hear ya man.
I just didn't expect it to go smoothly, and it didn't.
Your problem is that you're still equipped to handle 'normal' when the world strayed from that long ago.
That explains why Demon's Souls, imo, had that real, raw next-gen look and Miles Morales just didn't. Not saying it doesn't look great, but I was reeling from Demon's Souls and just 'happy' with Miles.
Lol.
Huh? YOU submitted this ARTICLE and 'I' won't let it die?
I'm not implying anything but that I hope all goes smoothly. I'm not worried about anything. You fanboys are a bunch of sensitive, strange, bizarre weirdos.
All I implied was that I hope everything works out. Jesus.
