It's sleek, elegant, and it looks very fast. I really like the store integration. Pretty much everything I had hoped for.
Maybe Sony's hiring.
This is next gen's main UI.
And, it looks great.
As long as it's stable at the end of the day, that's all that matters. The instability of the stability update doesn't matter if another stability update occurs to fix the instability of the first stability update.
Call of Duty: Cold War is the most unremarkable, uninspiring, unexciting, bareboned, bland, been-there-done-that Call of Duty ever released relative to its time.
It does nothing new, is entirely uninventive, and in my opinion, actually feels a little off-kilter in terms of movement.
Say what you want about Modern Warfare, but it did try something different, and it attempted to be somewhat fresh. Call of Duty: Cold War says nothing and does nothing. It...
These games have a great sense of humor.
This looks fun.
I preferred the old days when he was more enigmatic and referred to as "The Marine."
But, it's 2020 and we have no class, so Doom Guy it is.
(I'm really not that upset)
You know, whenever I see Joe's Diner on this list of incompatibles I put my palm over my mouth in sheer disbelief. I truly never thought it would come to this. I think we must all take some time to reflect on who we are and where we want to be as gamers ten years from now.
God help us.
I think both controllers feel hefty and are of good build and ergonomic quality, personally.
For the 360/One generations I've had an issue where the controller (fully charged) seems to turn off randomly. Also with the One, the charging light, which should be orange, doesn't turn on.
So, sometimes I can charge my controller (with the orange light), sometimes I can't, and sometimes it charges without showing that it's charging and I'll ...
More people know about Joe's Diner than they ever did thanks to it not being compatible with PS5.
Next Week: Drastic increase in sales for Joe's Diner
I'd personally wait and enjoy the beauty of this game at 60 fps. I think it's worth it and anyone should be able to appreciate that.
Pretty much everyone in this discussion jumped to the conclusion that Microsoft bought GameStop. It's a little ridiculous.
@bouze
He said "We have spent over two years preparing the adoption of the liquid metal cooling mechanism."
I have no doubt that he already works for Sony.
Agreed.
I like it.
New generation of trophies.
I like him.
Never been a fan of Sackboy but I like this little guy.
It seems like their solution to complaining is to simply just nerf everything.
This exchange reminds me of the musical West Side Story where the Jets and Sharks get into it over who did what first.
It's not at all surprising that games with uncapped frame rates are achieving 60 fps on Series X. I 'expect' that much. That's just the new hardware, as someone else said, brute forcing it.
What I want to see is a brand new game from a Microsoft studio totally optimized for Series X.
That will be something to talk about, because this I just expect.
Sony really wanted to do something new with Dual Sense. They didn't just want a new controller; they wanted to immerse us in a manner that we've never been before.
This is why they're great.
I've always loved Pro's UI output. The first time I used it I immediately noticed the detail on things like frames, borders, and trophies. Makes a big difference, and I believe it should be standard.
It's a shame Xbox isn't following suit.
