I call bullshit. Aside from Xbox first party developers, almost ever third-party and indie has said the PS4 is easier to develop for...
Because making them drastically cheaper would make them favored over retail. It's been confirmed multiple times that retailers have threatened to stop carrying physical games if the digital versions are too cheap...so...yeah. Hopefully in 5-10 years "high-speed" internet will be commonplace almost everything and we can ditch retailers taking a cut of games.
Agreed, sadly, this Kickstarter campaign will not be successful. That said, surely they can release this on PC/Steam, and then hopefully get funding for a console release.
Definitely considering the pre-order to get that playable demo. http://nextcargame.com/pre-...
Fiasco? The failure rate is less than 1%, well BELOW industry standards. Nice try, but yous till fail :)
GT7 on PS4? Year, that sounds about right. GT7 on PS3? Sounds like a rip-off.
The site is getting hammered right now as thousands of people are attempting to login. I was able to get it to load a few hours ago (hence the screenshot), but yeah, it's going to take a few hours to level out. I believe Comcept, the developer, is working with the site host to get it fixed.
Nope, this game is already funded. This will be where they show off game progress and other details over the course of developing the game. They also have a video production team recording them, think developer diaries.
Still *patiently* waiting for my own Mighty No...
Agreed. Though, when looking at the overall picture, I have no doubt that developers will be able to get games running at 1080p 60fps on the Xbox One...it's just going to take a bit more manpower to squeeze out that extra performance...similar to the PS3 and 360 last generation.
That said, PS4 games will naturally look and perform a bit better ;)
Everything after the ----- was my comments, and the "EDIT" was mine, to indicate which system I favor. Again, "for what it's worth" :)
That said, I highly doubted they were going to bring up the resolution issues, especially after saying "...Its sheer speed, versatility, horsepower..."
lulz.
PROS:
Wake-on-voice is very impressive
The best multitasking on any game console
Games are beautiful; console remains quiet
CONS:
The most expensive console available
Limited selection of exclusive titles worth playing
Missing key promised functionality at launch
BOTTOM LINE:
The Xbox One is quick, quiet and capable of handling live television and gorgeous games, all at the sound of your voice. At $500, ...
Good to see Sony is addressing issues and feedback (requests) this early. PS4 has only been out for 5 days now? Good response time :)
All valid points. I think one thing I would REALLY like in the next Fallout game is more emphasis on "my home". I liked having my own shack in Megaton, but I felt like it could have been expanded considerably.
I would love to be able to find my own abandoned warehouse and claim it as mine, and then setup a defense/security and whatnot to ensure it stays mine. From there, perhaps I invite people to live in my community, and having certain people with certain skills l...
Pretty sure after $40-50 for PS+ and maybe 2 games Sony has made a profit. Obviously R&D costs will take a little longer to recoup over the life of the system, but I see positive things for Sony and the PlayStation division as we move into 2014.
Sony has already gone on record to say they will be losing a *small* amount on each PS4 sold initially, but that PS+ and games sales will recoup the cost.

My apologies. I'm not saying you edited your comment (it doesn't say edited) but I definitely don't recall seeing a capitalized "NOT" when i first read your comment, hence why I asked :) My bad :D
Just so I understand first...you're saying a 7 is terrible? My exact argument was that -10 years ago gaming journalists would give games 6's and 7's and it wouldn't be doom and gloom. It simply meant there was fun to be had, but the games weren't amazing. Now, if a game gets a 7, it's terrible, which I don't agree with.
5-10 years ago 7's were solid. Not amazing, but still good. I don't understand how gaming journalists have shifted the spectrum from 7's being good to 9's or higher, and anything less is terrible?
For a game like Knack, 7's are a good aim. It's a game that not everyone is going to enjoy, but others will eat up. If "7" is good but not great, that seems reasonable, especially for a new franchise.
I thought someone confirmed it was registered through/with ZeniMax? Regardless, I think it's safe to say Bethesda is working on a new Fallout game. Can't wait :D
No idea how I missed this yesterday... *sigh*
I'm thankful for family, and that they don't care I'm broke this year.
