Can anyone post a TL;DR please?
There are 4 Xbox One titles in the article that are discounted. "fendernow" is clearly a troll, just look at how many comments he gets ;)
I approve of this, 100% :)
That's...bullshit? Isn't the point of "Flood Insurance" to cover damages from floods???
Eh...really, is this worth it though? Why not just focus on their new MMO instead? I'm not saying WoW isn't a good game, it is, but it's so old now.
Regardless, I'm sure there are plenty of gamers who haven't been able to play the hit MMO because they lacked a PC capable of playing it (even though the min. specs are quite low).
I can get store.steampowered.com to load, but I cannot login...
Assuming the parents still have their receipts, they should box it all up and return it and buy a new one. Buying something new for $500 and it being DOA is one thing. But having a used/refurbished unit sent back to you? No...
I don't think the infrastructures are in place (in enough places) to handle that type of bandwidth...
Seriously, Fallout 3 was one of the best gaming experiences I've had. If they can make Fallout 4 *somehow* better, I might just be done with gaming :P
But seriously, if they had made the the AI just a bit more unique based on player interactions, I would have just wandered the wasteland checking various locales to see what has changed. Unscripted AI/world interactions is what I really want in Fallout 4. I would also REALLY like to start my own settlement and see it slowly...
Assuming sequels aren't released on a yearly basis...
I'm all for sequels, especially if they improve upon every aspect of the previous game. If it's a sequel just for the sake of cashing in on the IP, no thanks.
As for new IPs, those are a MUST in this industry. When we're seeing COD 10, BF 4, AC 4, Dynasty Warriors 8, Crysis 3, Dead Space 3, etc...all released in the same year, we NEED new blood, so to speak.
I'm really ...
I completely agree. This doesn't affect me in any way, but I hate seeing sites trying to get traffic this way, especially with bogus reviews.
As mentioned previously, this should have been a scoreless preview. Knowing that this is an "early access" game, there's really no way to review something that is in beta and will continue to evolve until it's full release.
Yes, people are paying money for it, but it comes with full disclosure that...
This is early access, not final...shouldn't this be a preview?
I honestly hope Twitch becomes the new "YouTube" but for gaming.
My primary concern is they originally started this as a smartphone/tablet-focused game, and THEN added PC and Mac support, BUT, I still want me some Firefly so whatevs :D
Bethesda are deep into the development depths of Fallout 4, there's no research needed to gauge interest at this point. Multiple GOTY awards for Fallout 3 and Fallout: NV = guaranteed Fallout 4.
For whatever reason, Bethesda just felt like letting their fans suffer...?
Because it was a hoax and anything released via that site was taken as potentially legit. It's now damaged the reputation of what is real or not regarding Fallout 4. Also, companies usually advise their FANS when a site, art, etc is a hoax.
My thoughts EXACTLY. Glad I'm not the only one thinking this.
This actually makes me angry @Bethblog, not the creator of the fake site. All Bethesda had to do was confirm this was fake. Yes, there was a lot of hype for Fallout 4, but the bitter disappointment has quickly wiped out the hype for me. I expected better from a company such as this.
There's a right way to hype a game, and then there was this mess. Not impressed at all.
It's not flashy like newer shooters, and that's what I love about this screenshot! Still early days, but it's nice to see a shooter that is stripped down to the basics, for now. Can't wait to see what the team has in store for us next year :D
Even if 3GB is dedicated to the OS, 5GB is still more than plenty for these machines. The REALITY is that games will likely never exceed 1080p on the PS4/X1. If Skyrim running at 2550x1600 with ultra settings eats up less than 4GB, then I honestly don't know what this particular developer is doing.
But one thing is clear, if 5GB isn't enough, the developer is doing something wrong, or just lazy.
