Microsoft fans are still getting Destiny on BOTH the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One. Technically Bungie hated on SONY fans for over a decade...so...it's only natural they will try to suck up to Sony fans now. Either way, the game is still coming out on 4 platforms.
IMHO Sony should set a price of $1.99 for 1 day, and then go up from there. Renting for "4 hours" is just ridiculous, especially at $3.
If this is coming to the PS4, then I can do remote play...win/win for me?

Actually, as an overall game, I can quickly see this losing steam/fun factor. If you have played a Trials game previously, Fusion doesn't bring enough new content and/or gameplay to the table. And while it only costs $20...it still costs $20. For an extra $20 you could pick up Assassin's Creed IV, or BF4, or a few other PS4 games, on sale, at various sites.
Don't get me wrong, it's a fun game, especially in the beginning, but the fun wears thin quickly.
Yeah. I popped in to my local EB Games (Canada) and asked how much i could get for my Slim (120GB). He said $65 + 30% for rewards members. I ended up getting $85 for it in total.
I might have been able to get more online, but this was far less hassle and I got my monies-worth over 4+ years :) Now to save some money so I can buy a few games, instead of the free PS+ ones.
I JUST traded my PS3 in today. Uploaded my save to the cloud, hoping I'll be able to use that...
After seeing the video, assuming the games framerate holds stead around 30 fps throughout the game, I'm picking this up. Has it been confirmed that it will support cross-save? I'm about 10 hours into the game on the PS3, but haven't touched it in awhile. Thinking about trading my PS3 in towards a PS4.
Too bad this won't make its way to North America...?
REALLY excited to see what Polyphony Digital can do with GT7 on PS4. It hasn't been officially announced, but they were *VERY* close to hitting 1080p on the PS3 (with a bit of cheating). Can only imagine how good they make make the next GT game on PS4. Full 1080p 60fps. AA, no screen-tearing.

My biggest issue with Pachter is his "predictions" can affect companies' stocks, and with his track record of being wrong most of the time, this concerns me...
Why do people listen to this fool? 9 times out of 10, his "predictions" are completely off. He provides nothing of value, unless you want a good laugh now and then.
The PS4 has a modern CPU (finally). The controller has a touchpad (that clicks) AND a lightbar for both motion controls AND immersion.
The PS4 also (finally) does remote play with the Vita which is pretty awesome to use in-person. Sony has also revolutionized (console) gaming with PS+ and free/discounted games.
If it is, the games haven't shown it. Honestly, the fact that the Wii U is a *slightly* better PS3/360 speaks volumes. Nintendo thought they could get away with an upgraded Wii, and it backfired.
Love the sport, but it's still a massive game of "follow the leader".
As a fan, I've countered this argument more times than I can remember...suffice to say, running 190 MPH inches from your opponents is rather difficult. While tracks may be labeled "turn 1, 2, 3, 4", turns 1 and 2 are one long corner, and drivers have to maximize entry, speed, and exit if they want to win.
Honestly, I find the AI rather slow, even with the most recent update (2/15/14). I'm really hoping they improve the AI with the next patch. They aren't terrible, but if I get a good start (top 5 after first turn), I'm usually leading by lap 2 and pull away for the win barring I mess up somewhere :P
Still, great game and I really hope they evolve it to include similar mini-games from the Flatout games of the past.
According to the review, this is without the Day 1 patch. The game seems solid, though obviously I'm hoping that Day 1 patch improves online issues.
Really looking forward to the career mode, it sounds like Eutechnyx fleshed it out a bit, especially the R&D.
Agreed, though I will say that the NHL 15 animations are A LOT better than '14.
