Definitely an improvement over the console versions (NTGIL), but still more to be done. Thankfully the PC platform means they can add patches and features whenever they want.

Good review. I really wish I had pre-ordered the game when it was on sale a couple weeks ago. Not sure I want to pay $10 when it could possibly be PS+ later on, or on sale again sometime...very tempting to pick this up though.

To be completely honest, I was struggling to see how developers would make proper use of 7GB of RAM. I mean, games look amazing on PC and most of those only require 4GB RAM total for system, and 1-2GB of Video RAM. So even if the PS4 has 6GB of RAM for games, that's still plenty.

Heck, the PS4 could have 5GB of RAM and I'd still be OK with that, IF IF IF it means the OS isn't laggy like the PS3 currently is.

Excellent point, though electronics these days seem to last less than electronics of old. But then again, when I think of my PS1 (original), that thing lasted almost 10 years.

That said, the key to the PS4 (and Xbox One) is they are using chips originally designed for mobile devices/tablets. They use less power and put out less heat. Sony and AMD confirmed that the PS3 chip has been customized, but I honestly don't think heat will be an issue. We're talking small chip...

Considering they can still using the college licensing, they don't need NCAA in the title. Everyone will already know what it is.

Personally, I've always felt EA should release the NCAA/College games as an expansion to Madden. NCAA shouldn't cost $60. It shouldn't have any differences physics-wise from Maddens of the same year. Have it come out as a $20 DLC that can be purchased a month before and treat the customers right.

We all know Sony removed the PS4 Camera from the package in order to make the price $399. Unfortunately, that means the lightbar on the DS4 is now (almost) completely useless unless consumers go out and by the camera. BUT, but, but, the camera itself is only $59.99, so even at that price, the PS4 w/Camera is only $459.99, $40 cheaper than the Xbox One.

So yeah, $399 is an excellent price to launch the console at. If you can undercut your competition by $100, then by all means...

Most excellent news. I've been getting *back* into anime again recently and there are numerous shows I'd like to watch while the wife is using the TV/PS3.

I'm loving everything I see about this game. REALLY hope it comes to the west.

If it "brings back lots of memories", could it possibly be a new TOCA game?

Reviews have been quite positive so far, is there a demo?

So true and glad other people recognize the misconception about us men :D

I don't agree with what Nintendo has done with the Wii U, so not, I don't really want games going to it just for the sake of going to it. I'd rather see games on the PS Vita and 3DS, personally.

@chadboban - Grow up? I'm an adult who likes my PS Vita and has no interest in the Wii U.

Why U SO Mad?

Still hoping for Vita support, couldn't care less about the Wii U.

Completely agree. Not to mention high-speed broadband internet access is still limited or missing in many places within the US, let alone the world...

The NEXT generation (if there is one) is when we'll likely be more prepared for always online + digital only releases.

Was JUST going to post the exact same thing. I'm hearing some not-so-great things about the Ouya too, especially with build quality. I mean...it's to be expected for only $99, but I'm tired of people thinking mobile is going to completely overtake/overshadow consoles.

Two completely different markets that if done right, should compliment each other, not compete.

My wife and I LOVED Final Fantasy 12, I would gladly pay for that on my Vita/PS3 over FFX...

4740d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

@Wni0 - Final Fantasy 10 was THE game to get on a PS3 when it released. There's a reason it sold over 8 million copies worldwide. Those in-game cut scenes were amazing (at the time). Also, realistically speaking, it's far easier to upscale a PS2 game than a PS1 game, as I'm sure plenty of people would like to see an HD version/remake of FF7, 8, and/or 9 (9 is my personal favorite).

I see three possible scenarios:

1) FFX - $39.99, FFX-2 - $29.99
2) FFX - $39.99, FFX-2 - $29.99
3) FFX/FFX-2 - $49.99 <-- one can wish, right?

Really, if Square is going to make me choose one over the other (because of their potentially stupid pricing), I'll clearly be getting FFX.
