You're right people ultimately get the game to have fun, but my problem with their statement is that infinity ward has the man power and money to do both. If mw3 is fun and the competition, bf3, is also fun, which deserves higher praise (and in a perfect world, higher sales), the game with an old engine and reused assets or the one started from scratch with a new engine?
And as far as not adding things that fans don't ask for... if every dev did that we would see li...
This is great news because bad company 2 had pretty bad hit detection.
Didn't get to play the alpha, but I'm ready for the beta. My new cpu is coming in today :)
Good on you for giving pc a chance :)
I don't know what's a greater shame: that it took them this long to make the game look identical to the console version or that they are happy that they look the same even though pc is capable of so much more
Lol coming back? They never left!
Can't wait to play this game. My main draw is the multiplayer, but the single player sounds like it's shaping up to be pretty good too.
You know what I would like? All the Halo games after 2 to be released on pc. It would get me interested in the series again after they cut us PC gamers off.
"Who cares?"
I do :)
@mcardle
Oh you mean like how valve requires you to install steam in order to play their games?
Exclusive dlc plans? Just like every other publisher is doing huh?
@brutallyhonest
How dare you... I love my Vizio! Lol :P
I remember playing with 32 players in COD4 for PC and it was not a pretty sight... the maps were simply too small. So unless they have dedicated servers for the console version, make bigger maps specifically for this mode, and fix the bad spawning system that has plagued the series for years, it will be difficult to enjoy such a mode in MW3.
Agreed. It looks nice but nothing special. Only thing that bothers me are the character models and textures which is a shame considering how many people you talk too in the game. Still, I'm currently playing it and I love it so far.
Good for Dice. I still need to pre-order mine too... on PC of course. Too bad PC sales figures aren't released, I bet it's a lot.
Definitely agree. Funnest moments are when my friend and I are desperately trying to hold a flag by ourselves and with no backup. We know we're gonna lose it, but we give 'em hell till they do >:D
Lol, no...
To be fair, skin tones were too saturated in oblivion.
Anything you bought from the EA store is transferred to your origin account.
"Maybe a BF3 media blackout would do the trick"
or you could buy that PC you mentioned ;D
As a kid in the 90's, all I had to see was Rare's golden logo to know I was goin to play a quality game. Specifically donkey kong on snes, donkey kong 64, banjo kazooie, and goldeneye.
