Actually no, you only get it for free if you preorder it. it's not gonna be available day one you know.
When you build on top of 4 previous games it's pretty easy to include "more" things such as theater mode, which simply has to be pulled from blops. BF3 was built from scratch so every mode, map, feature has to be built from the ground up. And yet... they still can't seem to fix reoccurring bugs and glitches in the COD series after all these years -_-
At least we know it'll come eventually :)
so what do you make of the all the console war fanboys on this site? There are way more of them talking smack all the time. They all claimed graphical superiority at one point as well, does that make them graphic whores? And why would devs care about petty arguments going on in a forum?
@OpenGL
Well that's not bad at all considering it's a fairly new card and that's how much ps3 and 360s cost in the beginning. Come next generation, for another $500-$600, i would be surprised if the ps4 or 720 were 10x more powerful than the current gen.
Good.
Interesting. It would also be cool if they gave us unreal tournament 4!
@heartnet
Mouse is more accurate and faster than analog sticks. Nuff said.
Correction, a hack.
That mentality works for consoles, but not for PC where tech is constantly improving. making a game that many people can't max now adds longevity to the game. Crysis is old by video game standards, yet it still impresses me to this day.
@PixL
"Until about 3 years ago, every GPU reference board eventually got a passive cooled version. Nowadays it seems both AMD and NVidia (or companies which produce cards with their GPUs) can't achieve that."
Maybe it's because faster cards = more heat? Pretty simple.
Pc gamepad compatibility relies on the game maker adding support for it, as well the gamepad manufacturer releasing drivers for it. Since Sony doesnt want peo...
I think you're confusing Dice with Treyarch...
You act as if the full game won't have Caspian border and other maps. There will be a conquest mode for Metro too. seriously, stop judging the whole game off of a beta build on ONE map.
@pixL
"What silent (passively cooled) gfx card is capable of running BF3 in full HD? I'm afraid none."
Is that seriously important to you? *facepalm* I guess i didn't realize ps3's or 360's didn't make any noise from a fan >_>
"Can you use a joypad to play on PC?"
yes you can. Idk why u would want to use a gamepad in the first place, especially for an fps... but yes lots of games support i...
Ah thanks for posting this. Too bad so many people are so quick to judge. To everyone who says they wont get the game because of a the beta I say too bad for you. It's one map (a poor representation of what the game is capable of) and everyone thinks the rest of the game will be the same. I bet it won't.
It really doesn't have that many serious issues. The worst is the clipping but everything else has basically been fixed with this update.
I kinda like it lol.
this patch fixes a lot of things and the beta has only been out for 4 days. Dice is clearly working hard to get this right. Just fix the clipping issues and the game is damn near perfect imo.
A day 1 patch? Yeah, just like every other game that comes out these days. Not really a bid deal as long as the glitches are fixed.
Yeah it can easily be adjusted. I turned it down to 30.
"something that should have been included in the game to begin with"
Really? Dinosaurs are a given in today's first person shooters? Color me surprised! -_-
