He has a point though about higher res textures taking up more space. Imagine how much sharper the game would look if they didn't limit themselves to one dvd-worth of data.
Nothing like hitting a fully loaded one with an rpg :). Or sniping a pilot out of a helicopter. As a player who doesn't use vehicles that much (I prefer shooting them down), these r the glorious moments that vehicles add to the game.

Its not fair to compare the two since tf2 has been out for years and has had hundreds of updates to improve it. I really like brink but i wish they added more multiplayer modes. I know they want people to play as a team but some good ol fashioned deathmatch wouldnt hurt. Unfortunately brink wont have the amount of post release support that valve gave tf2.
I too got it on Steam and I think it's a solid game as well. Its the most creative FPS I've seen since Borderlands and good gameplay mechanics to boot.

If you have been planning on buying a surround sound system, a new monitor, and/or a new graphics card... this is the game to upgrade for. The sound in BFBC2 coming from a 5.1 setup still amazes me to this day, I can only imagine what BF3 will bring come November.
I have bc2 for the pc and ps3 and I'm impressed at how good it looks on consoles. It obviously looks sharper and a more detailed on PC but the console version holds its own. I'm confident DICE will make BF3 look good on consoles.
no, it was not pc gamers simply trashing console gamers. They gave good, legitimate reasons which they then backed up with many examples.

Dude u need to stop trolling on every BF3 article that pops up on this site. If your precious MW3 is as great as you make it out to be, it doesn't need you going around attempting (and failing) to point out why it's so much better. As far as graphics and the cod series goes, DICE has nothing to prove on consoles as even bfbc2 looked better considering how much bigger the maps were + destruction was gong on. The lead platform is PC that's why they are showing tha...
For people that don't know, its the same exact pose they used for bfbc2. I don't remember people complaining back then of it copying MW2 so why is this any different? Also please don't show your immature young age and act like MW2 was the first game to feature a soldier walking with gun in hand on the cover.
Im happy they are at least acknowledging the problem instead of ignoring it and letting it ruin the game after release.
sorry but the cod series in no way portrays realistic gunfire or physics. And "graphics" are never perfect as a newer game (BF3) will always look better. Hope you enjoy MW3 when it looks exactly the same as cod 4, even after 4 years.

I agree, only released or soon-to-be-released games should be compared which would be crysis 2, battlefield 3, and gears 3. The reason I say this is because we wont see any game come remotely close to the ue3 tech demo anytime soon.

How bout making the game bug free and balanced from the beginning? Yes i realize that's impossible for any game, but it seems like these guys are already expecting to ship a buggy mess.
