played and its very fun and pretty. Only problem is this game seems to lag like crazy when i turn the camera left or right because of the motion blur. I go from 80fps to 25fps instantly. I know it has to do with my dual core cpu (i know that sucks, I'm just waiting on the stupid Sandy Bridge mobos to come out to upgrade to the i7 2600k) but 'cmon, my fps shouldn't vary that much because of motion blur.
Um what recent multiplat game hasnt come to pc? The only noteworthy one i can think of is red dead.
All i have to say about pc gaming is this: most everyone has a pc anyways. Slap a $140 gtx 460 or equivelent ati card, a $40 power supply, and look at that u suddenly have a gaming pc thats 2x times faster than any console for less than $200. Now if ur pc doesnt have a pci express slot, then u must have a pretty ancient pc.

the standard edition and limited edition cost the same thing so the extra maps are basically free. they'll probably be free for everyone else just like the bc2 maps were

Yeah, thats not how things scale on PCs at all. Going between DX9 and DX11 yields only small differences
While I really liked BF:BC2 and am looking forward to BF3, I dislike how Dice releases betas only a few weeks before release. At that point isn't the game pretty much done and ready to ship? I guess it could be beneficial to find small bugs and stress test the servers but they seem to really cut it short with their scheduling.

Sure, BC2 wasn't a successor to Battlefield 2, but it was still a decent game in it's own right. I've been loving it on PC and I'm sure I'll love Battlefield 3 even more.

Also let's not forget that uncharted 2 topped most everyone's game of the year list so I would hardly say it was "God awful"
I too hope they release a cheaper version without 3g. My phone bill is high enough without an extra monthly charge for a psp2, and if I really wanted to play online when I'm not at home, using my phone as a mobile hotspot should do just fine :-)

Yeah thats 900 for a brand new computer. Most people interested in gaming already have a computer that they can simply upgrade for the same price as a current Gen console.
