I think you need a 600 watt psu for the gtx 570. I also recommend getting the 5xx series over the 4xx series. Ill probably pick up a gtx 570 to replace my gtx 260 once Battlefield 3 comes out.
My 3.0ghz core2duo kind of bottlenecked my gtx260 in Bad Company 2. People on forums with the same card and quad cores had significantly higher fps. I'm assuming the difference will be more noticeable in BF3. Hopefully I can get enough money to get the gtx 570 and a quad core cpu by the time this comes out...
Play the PC version, it has dedicated servers.
@Lord_Doggington
EVERY game has screen tearing to some degree, some more than others. It makes sense that a game with so much going on is going to have more screen tearing.
This is why I love you Steam...
Yet taking the time to comment about how the video is a waste of time ISN'T a waste a of time to you?
On topic... Its plausible that it's Battlefield 3. I sure hope so, but only time will tell.
I kinda thought it was a little too big (for its time) which is why I like Vice City more. The music was just incredible, it had so much style, and i just generally enjoyed the missions more... but thats just me.
Crap, I was thinking about getting a gtx 470 soon to replace my gtx 260. Should I just wait for the gtx 500-series?
I'll definitely get it once a there is a bigger selection of games or that big hit comes along to push me over the edge.
People are flipping out over a damn name change as if it ruined the whole game. I couldn't care less if I was playing as or fighting against the taliban or an "opposing force". As for EA, their decision neither improved nor damaged their image in my eyes.
Basically, they need an ipod touch with physical buttons, dual analog sticks, and better graphics.
My mind has been blown o_o
your statement is kinda ironic...
That's exactly what I have. I can play every game on the market except gears 2, halo 3/reach, and a few other less significant games which personally isn't big loss.
exactly, many move games are not out yet. Its only been two weeks yet people are already complaining about the lack of games? This makes no sense.
Well they would sell a lot more which would benefit them in the long run. Besides, we don't know how much it costs to manufacture one but my guess is that it's a lot less than $200 since its basically a DS with a 3D screen and slightly better hardware.
Starcraft 2 and Civ V are owning my life right now lol
I agree, the price is pretty steep especially when you compare it to the current price of a ps3 or xbox360. I say $200 is more reasonable and definitely more justifiable imo.
I love playing American football with my friends but I enjoy football (soccer) more. I admit all the divers and fakers have given the sport a bad rep in the US but I usually only see that in the pro leagues (ironically). Football is just more accessible and fast paced which I really like... which is why I really can't enjoy other sports such as Baseball. Overall, every sport has it's audience so I think it's silly to say one sport is better than another.
Can't wait for this game. Multiplayer should be awesome.
