@KwietStorm "Can you imagine if Phil was the scapegoat." Yes, I can imagine that Phil Spencer will be out of a job if the X1 doesn't out perform the PS4 with the greatest Xbox lineup level ever in the USA and UK this holiday season and gain permanent market share in these markets.
@ThePresentAgift Yes, the PS2 was technically inferior but it trumped the GC and Xbox in consumer mindshare. This is, imo, the main reason why the PS2 absolutely killed its competing platforms in sales. This generation the PS4 is not only leading in consumer mindshare worldwide but, it is also technically superior hardware wise to its competing platforms. Need I say more.
I hope Sony is not delaying this game for a PSVR release. I'm not sure I want to buy into PSVR right away. It will probably cost at least $400 to $500 especially if you don't have Move controllers and I like to take a wait and see approach on first generation hardware to make sure it's not buggy and is durable. I want to be able to play this game without the PSVR headset ASAP.
@triplec - I agree. It's about time Sony started offering some of their older PS4 AAA titles, like Knack, Killzone SF and Infamous SS on plus. Super Meat Boy and Broken Age are decent games but I'd like to see more blockbuster type games offered once in a while.
The reviewer criticizes the franchise for its violent game play: "Much has been made about the disconnect between the characters of Uncharted, and the actions they perform. Drake, Sully, and their crews are amicable people. But they have almost no problem killing on a whim." Lol - most of the people Drake and Sully kill in these games seem to be trying their best to kill Drake and Sully. Self defense seems like a good motivation for killing. So where's the disconnect?
@ABizzel - I may be wrong but I think Square Enix not Crystal Dynamic is responsible for the timed exclusivity deal.
Great bundle but in no way does it qualify as a blockbuster bundle.
@NotAFanboyy - "Orie isn't an indie." Yeah, but it's not a blockbuster title either. It's also arguable that the Rare Replay and Gears of War remasters qualify as blockbusters. Definition of block buster: "Something, such as a film or book, that sustains widespread popularity and achieves enormous sales."

I'm not saying that this is...
I think DriveClub is a good game but to list it in the top 100 and not list a Gran Turismo, a Forza, a Burnout, or a Need for Speed is just ridiculous. It seems apparent that the authors of this list don't play many racing games that have actual cars in them as the other racers represented only have Kart and futuristic vehicles.
A few of my favorites that are on my top 100 list: Blast Corps; Diddy Kong Racing; Burnout 2; Gran Turismo 3; Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne; Skies...
Well, Golden Abyss wasn't even developed by Naughty Dog, it was developed by Sony Bend. Perhaps, this another reason the game wasn't included in the collection.
@jznrpg - Tsunoda has a habit of over hyping the X1 and its lineup which, imo, makes him a poor PR guy. For example at the X1 event he stated that "This Holiday, Xbox has the greatest lineup of console exclusive games in history." Now, while I agree that the X1 has a great lineup of games this Holiday, for Tsunoda to call it the greatest ever is just too much hype and causes me to question his believability. That said, I've read enough good things about Scalebound from other so...
Tsunoda "This Holiday, Xbox has the greatest lineup of console exclusive games in history. Exclusive blockbuster titles only available on Xbox One, and all available this year." Lol, there is so much wrong with this statement - it's pure hyperbole. Fact - the X1 has a great holiday lineup of exclusives and timed exclusives but, correct me if I'm wrong, the only true exclusives for now are Halo and Forza. Nothing wrong with that but the greatest ever! Come on man!
@DoctorFraud - Imo, all 3 games in the franchise were great. Uncharted 1 was arguably the first great PS3 game and without it's success there would not have been an Uncharted franchise in the first place. And please explain how Uncharted 3 was MASSIVELY disappointing?
@At Hasswell - I agree. I thought the Witcher 3 was a very good game but was disappointed by the lack of xp I gained by completing the side quests. Some of the side quests did add to the main story and effect the ending of the game however.
@Incipio - AC Black Flag is a great game. The developers really nailed the pirate/naval combat and stealth aspects of the game. The gun play was decent too. I'd call that an evolution. Too bad the developers didn't use some of the better aspects of the gun and stealth play of Black Flag in Unity. I agree that Unity may have been a devolution for the franchise.
I've only played AC Black Flag and AC Unity. The main reason I purchased Unity was because I played Black Flag on PS4 and thought it was freaking awesome. Loved the pirate/naval game play. I played Unity a few months after it's release and actually finished the game. Unity was ok but not in the same league as Black Flag. So, I've played 2 games in the franchise, one, imo, was a fantastic 9.5/10 while the other was, imo, a little above average 7.0/10. Not sure how one controversial...
@loopy - The PS4 is selling great but there's no way it's sold almost 5 million units since the end of June.
From the article: "Not everyone has 40-50 hours to commit to a big game." WTF! I've heard plenty of people criticize the length of games but it's usually because they're too short. A game that is able to keep you engaged for 50 plus hours gives you really good bang for your buck. Who wouldn't want to commit to that? Recent games I've played that gave me good bang for my buck: TW3; Assassins Creed Black Flag; Infamous Second Son (played for good and bad karma o...
@ratchet: Lol! Yes, it's ok to be enthusiastic about your preferred gaming platform but @donthate is definitely going over the top with his comment. Perhaps he's auditioning for a PR job with MS/Xbox.
@DigitalRaptor and gangsta_red. Making GOTY predictions before games release is futile. Obviously, we can't know how good they will be until they release.
