I would've liked to have picked this game up for PS4 this holiday season. But,I don't mind waiting until next year. By then, it'll be more polished, perform better, and include all dlc. Until then, I have plenty of other games to keep me busy.

It's a bit late for Uncharted 4 to take inspiration from ROTTR - U4 development is almost finished. Stupid and pointless speculation.

Using the author's logic, any third party developed game that has a deal with Sony, MS or Nintendo will kick ass on the platform it has that deal with - duh! We're going to see this Captain Obvious brand of logic at work with the PS4 COD and Battlefront bundles. That said, Fallout 4, COD Black Ops 3 and Star Wars BF are going to kick ass on all the platforms they're available on.

@Kiwi66 - You don't have to be a Sony fanboy to be skeptical about this PR release about the performance of Halo 5 during its first week of release. It should be obvious, imo, to critical thinkers that MS would have given us separate software and Halo 5 driven hardware and accessory sales if they were by themselves outstanding. Apparently, they weren't. So, MS decided to go the BS PR spin rout and conflate software and hardware sales. There can be no doubt that Halo 5 provided fant...

Well, the X1 sold like hotcakes last holiday season here in the USA and outsold the PS4 by several hundred thousand units but, I don't recall there being a shortage of X1 consoles. There was however, if I recall correctly, some minor problems with the PS4 supply in the USA. MS does a good job of supplying enough consoles to meet the demand in the USA and I expect they'll do the same this season. I think it's more likely we'll see a problem with the PS4 supply not necessarily...

@Brazz - yes it seems that the author is either a big Xbox fan or ignorant. First quote - the PS4 was not thought of as inferior when "the two giants were first put on the market." In general, the opposite was true. Second quote - the author's use of the word 'infinitely' is just plain stupid. She could've reasonably argued that XBL is better than PSN but she didn't because, apparently she lacks the ability to think critically.

@WiiUMasterRace - "Lol delusional Sony fanboys mad and talking shit on Xbox articles because they are tired of PSN shutting down and mass indies." In case you haven't noticed, there are plenty of Xbox fans in this comment section who obviously think that Greenberg's statements are over the top. Greenberg is generally not well liked by gamers.

@MannGamer Yes, VentureBeat interviewed Greenberg and their article was posted on this site over the weekend. Gamingbolt decided to cannibalize Venturebeat's article for clickbait. Greenberg quotes seem to be gold for sites that rely on clickbait articles.

@Liqu1d - Yeah, this an article about the increase in number of users for XBL; it's not an article comparing the quality of the XBL and PSN services. The first guy to comment on the article, Frisky, set the tone for the rest of the comments by trolling. I reported him for trolling and hope others do the same.

From the article: "Why am I picking Xbox One?
Greenberg: If you’re buying a console for games, you’re buying an Xbox. Xbox is the platform with the most games, the most exclusives, and probably the most anticipated game of the year in Halo 5." Lol. The only thing that may be factual in this statement is his comment about Halo 5. Otherwise, it's just more bs spin from the MS PR dept. The X1 does not have that many exclusives available for this holiday. For example, ROTTR...

@endi123 Yes, Xbox has a great holiday lineup but, it's not the greatest holiday lineup in history as some people have been stating.

External HDD support and BC for PS1 and PS2 titles (PS3 BC would also be nice but don't think it's going to happen anytime soon because of PS Now.)

@Pistols - "so despite selling console (PS4) at almost a 2-1 ratio, their paid membership is just a 1/4 of what X1's is roughly." Well, the 39 million XBL users number reported also includes X360 users, not just X1 users, so I believe your math here is incorrect. XBL membership was required to access on-line services on the X360, PS+ was not required to access on-line services on the PS3 so, it's not surprising that XBL would have more users than PS+.

If Greenberg really wanted to clarify the exclusivity of Halo 5 to the X1 he should have said it would never be ported to PC. The word 'exclusive' ,imo, doesn't really seem to mean exclusive anymore. After all, MS may decide at some later date that they'd like to make more profit from the latest entry in the lucrative Halo franchise and change their minds about keeping it only on the X1.

Anshu Mor is an Indian and I think he's specifically talking about the Indian market which I believe is not, despite India having a population of about a billion, a big console market. That said, I believe that the X1 is competing better in the USA than it was last year (not sure about other markets) so, I guess you could state that it's gaining momentum against the PS4 in some markets.

@fallacious Kenways's on the list because as the author puts it: "In essence assassins are the white guy’s version of a ninja so a ninja crossed with a pirate will win badass awards every single time." The article is actually pretty funny and the list is not to be taken seriously. But, I agree with author about Kenway. He was a total badass in AC4 with so many different ways to take out the enemy. That said, Joel would be on my list as would Nathan Drake.

From the article: "Unfortunately, there are some who are more than willing to go and play a game they have already owned at some point and pay full release retail price for a game with a fresh coat of paint." Umm, why is this unfortunate? If some want to get a better version of something they've played before, that's their prerogative. The free market will define whether or not we get more remasters, not the opinion of the author of this opinion article. So far, it seems tha...

The article doesn't specify if the problem is occurring soon after the warranty expires or a year plus later. Last generation (X360 and PS3,) I never had a controller completely fail on me but the sticks would start to get a little loose so, I'd replace them on an annual basis. In my experience (gaming 15-20hrs per week,) it's not unreasonable to expect your gaming pad to give you at least a years worth of play.

@Frinker - you forgot to include Infamous SS (metascore 80} and Disgaea 5 (metascore 83.) The number of triple A exclusives for both the PS4 and the X1 for the first 2 years is much lower than last generation because so many titles have been cross generational. MS, Sony and 3rd party developers have just started, for the most part, to release games that can't be played on the PS3 and the X360 (can't really blame them with more than 160 million consoles sold between them.) They moved...

@hiawa33 I expect MS will react to the PS4 price cut at some point. The question is whether it will be immediate or after they've seen how the Xbox 1's strong holiday lineup competes without a Xbox price cut. If Halo turns out to be the strong system seller they're hoping for perhaps they'll wait for BF before countering with their own price cut.
