Actually, I'm guessing CoD will have a new engine in the next two years, considering they can keep up their annual releases by having two or three studios work on the games (say Sledgehammer, IW and to some extent Raven Software) and have Treyarch work on a new engine and a new CoD that would be released in say, 3 years.
I know 3 hours seems somewhat short, but when you think about it, many devices don't have a much longer battery life when everything is turned on; I know my PSP doesn't last much longer with screen brightness, blutooth and wireless on, same goes with my iTouch for that matter.
Anyway, considering it's a handheld, 3 hours seem fine to me since I usually don't play games for more than a couple of hours when on the go.
From my personal experience in the beta, Id say they'll be lucky if they can maintain 1M after the first few months.
But, both music and movie reviews are highly subjective and for the most part don't really have any standards, yet they are both seen as serious mediums.
If your question is directed to me, then the answer would have to be yes. I'm just trying to point out that back when GTA4 was released, most multiplatform games ran better on the 360, including GTA4. Also, while it is true that a blu-ray can hold much more data than a DVD, I don't remember anyone back when GTA4 was release claim that the game was not good because it lacked content. If the next GTA is multiplatform, it could, I say could not will, end up being held back by the 360, bu...
Yeah, because we all know the reason GTA4 sucked was the 360 holding it back, and that despite the fact that the game ran better on the 360 (only slightly though) and because of the DVD, not because the game played differently from previous GTAs and was much less over the top. Nope, it was all because of the DVD.
So basically, the author of this article claims that the next Duke Nukem game will be better because it will do what every shooters do today and will be lost in a sea of CoD clones.

This is about PSX titles, not the PSP ones, you can therefor expect Sony to use pretty much the same emulator and format they used on both the PS3 and the PSP for PSX emulation. If they use another format and emulator, I will be fine with paying for content I already own, but it's unlikely they will do so.
If the PS3 had a working emulator for PS2 games without any need for additional hardware, and yet Sony told you that you can't play your ...
We're not talking about PSP games, but PSX titles, which are likely to be running on the same emulator used by both the PSP and the PS3.
Thanks for the info, I hope they change that PSX decision, considering I already have about a dozen PSX titles on my PSN account... But I guess it's still miles ahead of what I already own, let's just hope it makes it to Canada.
This looks nice, I might get it if it actually gets more than the run of the mill Android games (like getting access to all minis, PSX and PSP titles on the PSN).
I think it's Carpe and not Garpe, and I would guess it's a like Carpe Diem.
The first Kane and Lynch supports local co-op, I believe the Serious Sam titles do too (the original ones).
Considering previous RTS games on consoles, I can't see you being competitive against PC players. This ain't a shooter, no auto-aim is going to save you in a cross platform RTS like SC2 (as opposed to some who have simplified/alterbative controls like RUSE or EndWar).
Also, why exactly would you want SC or any Blizzard game to be on anything but PC? Their games are made with low end PCs in mind, you can easily play SC2 on a low end PC or a mid-end laptop, and they al...
If the game is any good, people will pay for it. Remember, many did complain about DCU's subscription fees, as it's not usual for a console game (only a handful of console MMOs so far), but that did not stop it from selling quite well on both PC and PS3 (obviously we don't know so far if people will actually pay for the subscription, as many are still on their first "free" month).
You don't have to be a 360 fanboy to appreciate Mass Effect 2, the game had great graphics (mostly on PC), improved gameplay over ME1, and while the story itself wasn't as good as it could have been, it was still a decent one in which some of your actions really had some meaning. It might not be a good game to you, but for most people who played it, it was a great experience. Oh, and I don't see the point of bringing down other games just because a KZ3 review did not meet your exp...
I hope the Move sharpshooter works well with KZ3, considering I just ordered my Move+NavController, and pre-ordered the Sharpshooter and KZ3. Anyway, I plan on using both the Move and the DS3.
I'm pretty sure there are other ways to ensure people don't boost. As it is right now, there's no way I'm buying Dungeon Siege 3, as the main reason I wanted the game was to play with a friend of mine until D3 comes out. Seeing as he or I would not get any XP out of playing the game in co-op, I can't really see myself doing that.
Well, technically, they're still Nintendo's IPs, considering they still own them and could ask any other developer to make a game using these names. Saying Last Story is not a Nintendo IP is like saying Gears of War is not a MS IP or that Resistance and Ratchet are not Sony's IP.
Well, it might seem pretty easy to us, but I guess it might be harder to comprehend for someone who has never heard of Portal and rarely if ever play video games. However, this man seems slow in the puzzle solving department, and seems to have trouble learning using trial and error.
