Truth be told, SC2 might be more of the same, but I'd rather have a great game with great gameplay, even if it's similar to what I've played 10 years ago, rather than having Blizzard try to change everything, and end up with another RA3. In the last few years, many RTS franchises tried to incorporate some changes, and most of the time, it was disappointing or downright awful. Red Alert 3 and CnC4 being a disgrace to the WWS's legacy. And I never could get into Dawn of War 2, a...

Freedom Force was a lot of fun. And while it was released a little bit before the PS2, System shock 2 was a pretty good game.

Well, maybe they expect to sell millions of copies because of higher marketing and development costs. When games like KZ2, GTA4 and GT5 are being developed for years and handled by a large team, you can't expect to break even with the same sales required for a smaller indy-developed game to break even, and you also have to consider that breaking even is not exactly what these companies are trying to do, they're in for the profit.

Panzer Dragoon orta, Conker Live and reloaded (although it is a remake of BFD), maybe Brute Force, Deathrow, Phantom Dust and a handful of other titles could be worth it.

I'm pretty sure anyone who has played through the SC2 campaign can agree that even if it's just one third of it, it was still one of the best, most compelling and interesting campaign in a RTS in a long time, and wasn't as short as some people seem to believe. As a matter of fact, the SC2:WoL campaign is about as long as the one found in the original StarCraft and longer than the ones we see in most games today.

Now, I'm not saying Kotick is or is not ruining ...

If twisted metal sells very well, you can expect a new Carmageddon from SE, but also a new Vigilante 8 from Activision (despite all the hate Activision has been getting for a while, a new Vigilante 8 would be great news to me) and maybe even the revival of Road Rash by EA. I do hope someday arcade vehicle combat comes back, as I miss these days...

don't you get the golden weapons that way in black ops?

So, from what I understand, the writer believes that video games developers should not speak up when some journalists take out of context what they actually said, crop some parts to change the whole meaning of what they said in order to create a shocking headlines that will generate more traffic on their website and eventually, more cash income due to advertising.

And DNF is actually coming out.

I just wish they would at least put Conker Live and reloaded on the game son demand service, a HD remake would just be icing on the cake. Same with Phantom dust, Panzer Dragoon Orta (though I still have it) and Deathrow.

Prcko, have you played the multiplayer beta? It basically was CoD:MW2 lite, it didn't look all that good (it probably look significantly better in the final release though), it didn't have the destruction found in Bad Company 2 and din't really have anything to make it stand out from the competition. And let's not forget how the beta started days later while the EA servers were basically ''eating'' the beta codes.

Let's face it, MoH is not...

And you can give a X.7 if you think it's closer to a 8 than it is to a 7. Giving it a 7.5 would mean it's pretty much halfway between the 7 and the 8, but sometimes, you want to say it's just a tad more than halfway, but still don't want to say it's a solid 8.

But, why do people want L4D or L4D2 on the PS3? I mean, the PC version of L4D2 is selling for 20$ (was 7$ last week) and can easily run on most computers, it also happens to look better and run better than the 360 version (I assume that a PS3 L4D would be somewhat similar to the 360's one). And to make it worse, expect the PS3 version of Valve's games to have you pay for additional content (like on the 360) when it's completely free on PC.

Basically, by buying a ...

I love my PSPGo, as it's smaller than my old 1000 or my 2000, it also looks cooler and its 16Go of internal memory, but I'm sure glad to still have UMD-capable PSPs, since games like Lumines, KH:BBS and MGA (despite the fact that many seem to dislike the MGA series) are not on the PSN, and likely will never make it.

Until the entire PSP library is on the PSN, the PSPGo is little more than an overpriced PSP with a smaller game library.

So why not compare it with Uncharted 2 and Lost Planet 2 while we're at it, considering that these two games are third person cover based games too?

And hey, I guess we should also compare Arma 2 and Halo Reach since both are first person shooters with vehicles.

And I for one don't think that Vanquish is better or worse than Gears, one is much faster and over the top, but that in my opinion doesn't automatically make it better.

The PS3's launch price was 600$ (in NA), the 3DS is supposed to be either 250$ or 300$ (again, in NA), the PSP came out with a 250$ price tag in the US (and a 299$ here in Canada), the PSPGo came out at 250$, an iPod touch is priced between 200 to 400$, so I don't really see a problem with the 3DS' projected price. If the game line-up is as good as what we've been told, it's quite worth it.

Also, it'll be fun to see the reaction of some people on this ...

maybe, just maybe, they are releasing VC2 and VC3 on the PSP because the PSP has sold twice as much as the PS3 or the X360 worldwide and has much lower development costs than current gen console games, which can usually result in a significantly bigger profit. It is also worth noting that Sony has finally been able to slow down piracy on the PSP, which should result with better overall software sales on the platform.

I also believe you are being a tad too harsh with the handh...

I wouldn't say that DN3D was the only good Duke title, as I quite enjoyed the DN64 remake, Zero Hour was also quite enjoyable in my opinion, and while DN:MP hasn't aged all that well, it was pretty good back when it was released.

Of course Duke Nukem was featured in a bunch of bad games, and he peaked with DN3D, but it wouldn't be fair to say that DN3D was his only good game.

Also, it is way too early to say that DNF will be a bad game, and it'...

Vader is an iconic villain in the movies, I am however unable to remember one game where I had the feeling he was an iconic villain. Considering so many SW games were subpar, and that out of those which were worth playing only a handful featured Vader as the villain, I can clearly see why Kerrigan beat Vader in a VIDEO GAME contest.

Well, I'm hoping they won't simply put the PSP we have in a phone and call it a day, considering that the iPhone and various other phones are more powerful than the PSP. I know that a PSP phone would still have better controls than other phones, but it would be quite disappointing if this new phone couldn't keep up with the iPhone 4G or Samsung's Galaxy line on the graphics front.
