All they need to do is patch it so that any car you win as a birthday gift can't be gifted to friends. There are already some cars which can't be gifted already so it wouldn't be too hard for them.

I do just skim over reviews these days, I've forgotten how many games I've bought in the past because they got great reviews only to play it and think its balls. And it works the other way too, many a time I have left a game on the shelf because it got crap reviews only to pick it up used someday and realise that its awesome. So many times nowadays I've found myself enjoying games that get 6-8 averages way more than the games that get overhyped 9-10's.

Actually I'd probably say MW2 says high. Never played Halo myself but I gather its actually pretty good, whereas MW2 is shite.
I know, they really need to bring back the one bubble system fom before. Where you can't read one bubbler's comments unless you really feel like you want to read what shite they are saying.

You don't absolutely need a wheel but it really does make a hell of a difference, but my friend is just as fast with a pad as I am with the wheel, and its not like I'm poo or anything me and him were both in the top 100 boards for some of the time trials in prologue.
I will maybe say that you will need the wheel for the NASCAR challenges though, I did them last night and thought while I was doing them that they would be near impossible without a wheel. You just have so much mo...

I'm not trying to be all GT5 defence force or anything but that pic is from Prologue not the final game. Just sayin.
A lot of them don't look as bad as the one they're showing but they do still look rubbish and it detracts from the rest of the otherwise awesome game. I doubt PD will ever be doing that again.
If only that were true, most of the early races kinda force you to use standard cars, and most of the AI racers are in them. They're not a bonus, they're a big mistake is what they are. I originally defended the standard cars being there, but now that I've seen how crap they look, they shouldn't have been included at all. Quality not quantity.
Most of them are butt ugly, and tbh although they are just as good to drive I'm starting to think that they shouldn't have been included in the game, they are its biggest weakness without a doubt. And if they hadn't spent time (though not much by the look of it) giving the standard cars a lick of HD paint then the time could have been better spent giving us another hundred or so premium cars.

Lol @ Rafaleon's lame attempt. Yes that is a pic of a standard car and tbh the standard cars do mostly look crap but everything else about the game is too awesome to care about how crap the standard cars look.
If that's the best you can come up with, then bring it on.

Oasis was awesome in the first game and this will be even more awesome, same map, more polish :-) Personally I'm more excited about harvest day, it was always my favorite in the first game.

Have to agree there, its the first game in a long time that's made me get out my bed early cause I'm dying to play it. It really is awesome, and like the first line says, if you go looking for flaws you'll find them, and I definitely feel that's what some reviewers have been doing, and thats sad.
