I think lair has proved that reviewers are poop, almost every reviewer said the game was garbage, but almost every player review has said it's actually pretty good. Sure no one has been fool enough to say it's amazing but at least they haven't shot it down just for being different. It's clear journo's just plain suck at games!
I live in the UK, I got mine off ebay for about £38, which is pretty damn good when the sixaxis is £34.99 in our shops, it was definately worth it. It's true what they say about not knowing how important something is until it's gone, even something as simple as rumble. I'm glad it's back.
I played HL2 to death when it first came out(4 years ago, and it still owns everythin else)and I still bought the orange box for pc, as it was cheaper than buyin episodes 1 and 2 seperately. I just hope for the game's sake and for ps3 owners sake that this isn't another EA balls up, the game deserves so much better, so do ps3 owners! HL2 is the best game ever! FACT!

You can now bask in the glory with lovely replays, sure they're not 100% but 90% is way better than it was! and there's pretty much no slow down whatsoever in matches, if it had come out like this originally it would definately have gotten higher scores. Very pleased. Dunno what big brady is on about? sure your not playin somethin else mate?

I turned it off as soon as I saw it after the update, it is possibly the most pointless thing in the world, all the news is weeks old!! My advice would always be to dissable it anyway, whether you wanna play AC or not, which I dont btw.

I dont and I'm sure not many others do, as far as I see it blu ray is only really gonna be used fo games, the same way UMD's are on PSP, and in the end some other format, better and cheaper will come along and no one will even remember blu ray or hd dvd. I also think that the name blu ray means that hd dvd will win anyway, as normal ppl will associate the names HD and DVD but will look over the silly named Blu Ray, I mean seriously who came up with that, at least if it was Blu Ray DVD then ca...
