Samsung's suck harder than Bravia's. Panasonic and Pioneer are the best, and Sharp are there or there abouts.
I got all the way through the game on elite, but just could not beat Radec, so sadly I have never completed it on elite. Radec is bastard hard to beat, no wonder there is a trophy for beating him in under 20mins!
Personally I hope it is a bit longer than the reported 4-5 hrs, but even if it isn't, as long as its 4-5hrs of pure awesome sauce I'll be happy.
I agree with active, if I've been following a game with interest, and I've played and liked a demo then I'll get whether or not reviews for it are below par. Like Haze, which I liked and Jericho which I also liked but both got bashed at review.
And in my opinion an 8 is not a bad score its just that 9's and 10's are handed out far too much. In fact nowadays I seem to find my self hating most of the games that are getting high scores across the board, ie any call of...

MAG is barely better than hitting your balls with a stick! I traded it in a long time ago, I then bought it again a week or so ago because I was remembering it with rose tinted goggles on. After about 3 matches, I remembered why I traded it in, and promptly did so again.

While I do agree that the 3ds will most likely sell mote than NGP, I don't think it will be anywhere near as successful as the DS. Most of the casual market will be perfectly happy with their old DS, most of them bought it for brain training and professor layton so they probably won't be interested in 3d Mario and zelda titles.
I'm not saying that I think the NGP will do any better, just that the 3DS won't sell anything like the DS/DSi.
Plus phones are pretty small and thin so have tiny batteries, the PSP2 is big, and has no umd drive, so they have room for a fairly large battery.
I agree, I played the demo once and deleted its ass. It was just a bit rubbish imho.
I'm expecting it to be about £300 at launch so I've started saving already. Tbh I would love it to be cheaper but I think it'll be worth it, start saving folks.
I don't see a problem with ports of new games, I just don't want to see loads of old PS3 games getting ported across, but if new games come out, and it launches on 360, PS3 and NGP then I wouldn't really consider that bad.
I loaded up the demo, played it once and deleted it, personally I thought it was garbage. Just my opinion, but I am glad to see I'm not the only one.
I agree with you, if it gets the right software then it will sell. Especially if it gets COD lol.
Totally agree with you Sinn, if its as good as I'm thinking it could be then once this baby comes out I can see a few home consoles gathering dust.
If its easy to develop for and as powerful as current gen home consoles then why not!
@NYC . Maybe things could have just got cheaper too though. If you want the premium version then yes it will be expensive but it also means there will be a budget version which will be cheaper and if all it lacks is 3g then that'll be the one I'll be getting, we don't even get 3g where I live :-(
Pretty much what Venatus said, I don't see any reason why if its as good as if not better than home consoles that it should be cheaper.
I personally expect that it'll be more expensive than home consoles, but I also expect that with the correct support from Sony and 3rd parties that it could be better than both home consoles and therefore worth costing more.
I do think it'll be more expensive than a PS3, the PSP was more expensive than a PS2 when it launched. Remember the PS3 has been about for 5 years now.
I personally think it'll be worth it as long as it gets plenty of support from the devs.
If this thing is as powerful as the PS3 and as easy to develop for as the 360 then I'm being quite serious when I say, it may well just shit all over both the PS3 and 360 if Sony market it properly!
Personally I think it'll be pretty pricey but when you look at the tech and think of the possibilities, it'll be very much worth it.
Day one for me, I'm starting saving now!
