It's not specific to Games it's the same with movies and in particular music. I'm a DJ and I hate all the genres and sub genres it makes buying new tunes a pain in the ass. When I started DJ'ing you had House, Techno and Trance and that was it, now there is a million and one sub genres and it really pisses me off!!
Personally I don't care for it, I've been round a few stores to check out their 3D displays and it really didn't impress me at all, it's just total meh.
And I dunno if it's just me but I can clearly see the flickering and it's very annoying, no way I could watch a movie or play a game like that.
I honestly think GT5 will outsell Reach, maybe not in US but certainly worldwide.
It's not even expensive anymore anyway! And like you say it is a steal for what you get for your money, even more so now.
The Nazis were far worse than the taliban, it's just that this is in recent memory and people forget pretty quick. The Nazis were absolutely terrible and if anyone knows anything about WW2 other than what you've played in video gams then they'll know that.
To be fair to Guerilla at least they only made the first Shellshock and while it was shite (5.8/10 IGN) it wasn't quite as bad as the follow up by Rebellion (4.6 IGN).
I had a CD-i, infact I'm pretty sure my brother still has it. It was weird, all the games were pretty much just interactive movies, it did have awesome graphics though.
Guns don't kill people, rappers do!
Well most shooters nowadays the melee is insta kill, BC2, COD, MOH most of them you just press the knife button, one stab and the mofo is dead, so I don't see how KZ3 doing it is a bad thing? As you said before, the melee in KZ2 wasn't great anyway.
I am a big KZ2 fanboy I think it's fine the way it is. But what I don't understand is people moaning about them making it more accessible, whats the problem with more people enjoying it? And as for making it more...
Yup, lighting in tunnel is pants but other than that, colour me very impressed indeed. And as a massive F1 fanboy codemasters will have a hard time impressing me but that video succeeded.
They've still got the old wing mirrors on that RB6 though.
What about Alma in Fear 2 when she goes all sexy Alma, still scary as hell but at least she looked good and was neckit.
And these are the same people that try to justify it by complaining about the price of games, guess what, they wouldn't have to be so expensive if it wasn't for all the theiving pirates!
(and Bobby Kotick)
I'll hold comments about the PS3 version until we've seen that next to PC aswell. Everyone always knew this game was gonna look better on PC though and thats where I'll be playing it.
Cool video Cobra, never seen that before.
Spa is my favourite circuit of all time and it's the one thing I've really been praying for in GT5. While everyone else was talking about damage and weather I've just been thinking 'screw that just give me Spa and I'll be happy'.
Oh and the Spa GP is on Aug 29th not Sept 1st btw. ;-)
I'm one of those people you speak of, I'm in the UK and I currently only get 5mb, and thats through LLU ADSL2+! The internet in the UK is total crap unless you live in one of the major cities.
But it still doesn't take me that long to download a 1-2gb demo.
To some people GT5 is more than a game, I'm one of those people, and I'm not even ashamed of myself.
I do agree with you Cloud, but seriously, who hasn't got the internet these days except the Amish and some 3rd world places?
I think you'll find Hale is the dead guy, not the bad guy.
I think anyone who played R2 kinda expected this. My first thoughts at the end of R2 were "Capelli for R3 then".
Indeed, I just find it so much harder to find decent tracks, especially now with it being all downloads there is just so much more rubbish out there. There's still tons of excellent tracks but sadly it's well hidden in the moutains of garbage that gets released nowadays.
Back even just a few years when it was all vinyl, labels, distributers and stores were a bit more picky about what they released, but now with downloads they just throw everyting out there.
And back ...
