I'm glad that in spite of the hasty reviews from the likes of Jimquisition who already wrote their review months ago that the game is doing well regardless. It is hands down my favorite game of this generation... is it perfect? No... but it's more perfect than most AAA games. Halo 5 took me about 6 hours to complete, was complete garbage and had broken online. NMS has taken me 35+ hours so far to barely scratch the surface and I've enjoyed every second of it. Very excited for folders, all the other improvements look great too but this has been one my more wanted requests for a while now. Even without this though, I'm amazed at how smooth the UI has been compared to Xbox One... you would think a "software" company would not mess that up but somehow Microsoft always find a way to make it laggy and clunky as possible.

I tried, and I tried again and then once more. I just can't do it... this is a game I wanted to like from day one... not because it was Bungie but because it looked fantastic. My problem was matchmaking, or lack thereof. It has been far too frustrating having to go outside of the game to forums to put together teams to complete some of the bigger content. It completely ruined the game for me. If it had matchmaking across the board I would probably be one of this games biggest fans bu...
I have one and it's been fantastic but I think the reason you are seeing more and more discounts on PS4 related peripherals is because Neo is right around the corner and theses places are clearing out stock. If you don't plan on getting a Neo then definitely a convenient quick way to charge.
I guess I'm confused... supposed AAA games like Halo 5 for example had massive teams, huge budgets and couldn't do more than put out a 6 hours game that had broken online at launch. Cool that you enjoyed it but when I compare it to the first two Max Payne games and Alan Wake I don't think it can even compete. The first time I was a bit worried with Remedy was with American Nightmare, seemed like a different developer all together from Alan Wake's main game. Then Quantum Break just flopped. Let me get this straight... Halo 5 had a 6 hour campaign from an AAA studio that has completely destroyed the franchise and launched with broken online gets a better score from you than a game that will revolutionize the industry. I've put in 35 hours so far and can safely say between the variety of worlds, customization of components, ability to learn new languages and some of the deepest lore in any game is most definitely not a tech demo.
I'm still surprised at the amount of people upset with the "look" of the game, it nails exactly what Hello Games were going for - inspired by 70s/80s sci-fi novels with their fantastical cover art. Reminds me of when Sunset Overdrive launched, the only Xbox One exclusive I liked but turned people off with it's bright world/colors. And yet more Titanfall 2 gameplay was unveiled this week and it looks exactly like EVERY single other shooter out there, lots of depressed dysto...
I am surprised more people don't see that Neo is not in competition for with Scorpio. With a years head start the only console it has to beat is the S and between PS4 and Neo they will do that handily. Microsoft, in their predictable haste, showed their hand more than a a year early - this gave Sony all of the information they need as the pivot to the PS5. At that time Microsoft will be stuck with a just released Scoprio and the proposition of alienating more users by moving to their n...
I have a feeling what we see now is just the tip of the iceberg on what is to come. I'm more than happy with what the game is right now, hands down my top this generation I can see them adding some rather fantastic things in the future like base building, personal freighters, more customization, etc...
Even though this is easily my favorite game this generation this is probably the most well-explained review I've read of the game... reviewing what the game actually is rather than being disappointed it isn't Assassins Creed in space with lots of mission markers and hand holding.
Don't worry, Watch Dogs 2: Hipster Edition will be out soon enough with a lot of hand holding and predetermined story missions with lots of map markers.
