I agree. The 3DS is getting great game after great game, while the Wii U is still grabbing for what it can find. 3DS has Pokemon, Luigi's Mansion and Zelda this year, while a lot of the really exciting Wii U games are being pushed to 2014.
It's great to see the 3DS doing well, but it's not the system that needs the most help right now.
The first one should've had classic Dante. Using DMC Dante, MGR Raiden and Big Daddy made the game look like a big advertisement for games released in the same window.
If you're going to use third-party characters, you need to use third-party characters that represent Sony history, not current marketing endeavors.
Also, fix the supers. There were way too many overtimes in this game.
You've been putting a very large amount of importance on technical specs of a system throughout these comments, but you just said in this exact comment that the PS2's lower specs didn't matter in the end.
Here. Try this: why did the PSP tank when compared to the DS? Sony had gaming market presence with the success of the PS2 and they had a ton of marketing behind the PSP. Lots of developers supported the PSP early on. Hell, gaming websites were saying that the DS ...
Man, I really want to play The Order: 1886. It's the game that convinced me to pre-order a PS4.
Wait...a commercial for a Wii U game? Considering Nintendo's low amount of advertising for this console, is anyone else as surprised to see this as I am?
While it's good that Valve doesn't want to fence off gamers from playing Half-Life 3, they'll need some big incentive for people to care about the SteamOS right now.
That means giving SteamOS users something that the other consoles can't provide, whether it's a game or a feature.
It doesn't matter if you're the worst or not, EA. The point is that you've been making a number of poor company decisions that are making the gaming public very upset.
Every fanbase has its share of logical members amongst a sea of narrow-minded idiocy. Just because you like one console, that should not mean that you should want the competitors to fail. That mindset is why the community is so terribly flawed nowadays.
Thank you for showing that not every fan has to vehemently bash a competitor's product like it took their lunch money or stole their girlfriend or something. It's good to see some maturity on the internet every now and...
What in the world are you talking about?
Ubisoft was a huge supporter of the Wii U at launch, even more so than Nintendo themselves. While Nintendo brought out another 2D Mario platformer, Ubisoft made a fully original and damn good launch title in ZombiU. It's a huge shame it didn't sell as well because it was amazing.
I'm not justifying what they did with Rayman Legends (that was a very uneducated and downright stupid move on their part) but Ubi...
That's probably why this happened. Gotta match your competitor's offers.
That is absurdly good-looking for a 3DS game. Definitely looking forward to this.
The comments section of any Wii U doom article is composed of the following:

I believe that all of the old Rare alumni who quit after Microsoft screwed them over are working on better projects right now. Chris Seavor is making an eShop game and a lot of smaller studios are treating the 3D platformer genre with more respect than modern Rare could ever do.
If the Banjo-Kazooie series should be revived, give it to another studio. Modern Rare doesn't deserve it.
You're one of the lucky ones, but trust me, it's happening. Best Buy has been reported to hiring employees who are telling customers to buy a Wii instead of a Wii U saying that they "are the same thing." That bothers me since they're hiring people who are selling an item that they simply do not understand. It's false advertising, all things considered.
On the other hand, it is common to mistake the Wii U for an add-on; in fact, it's a big barrier...
Sony, all you need now is a PS4/Vita bundle and you're in top condition.
Sony knows how to treat indies not just by having a lot of them on PSN, but by giving them a huge amount of publicity. Back at E3, Sony gave a big chunk of their press conference to the indie developers' showcase. That's expensive and valuable time; they could've given that time to a major third-party studio or a huge publisher. But they didn't.
That's not just giving indies space on the storefront; that's full-on "we want you to succeed with us&q...
I don't understand what is "fail" about Bayonetta. It's a fun game and I'm happy it's getting a sequel.
Didn't the original Xbox have "better specs" than the PS2...and the PS2 crushed it?
Just trying to offer a non-Nintendo related support for your claim, sir, hopefully one that will knock some sense into the folks obsessed with specs that run around spouting nonsense on N4G (though I won't hold my breath on that).
The PS3 story is probably the biggest comeback I've ever seen from a game console. I'd even say that it trumps the 3DS in improving over a terrible launch. Sony fixed the price, offered top-quality exclusives in Uncharted 2 and MGS4, supported indies on PSN and made PS+ a must-buy for PS3 owners.
That kind of re-earned momentum is what will keep gamers' eyes on the PS4. At this rate, the "glory days" will continue for a good while.
Ouch.
This game sure has had a tough development cycle. From the resolution issues to the Twitter drama, it's all been downhill for Ryse. If the demo is that bad this close to launch, I expect the game to be a real wreck when it's released.
Also, I find it rather interesting that this game was originally announced as a Kinect game.
