Quite frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if a LEGO Star Trek game is released this gen.
Man, what a pleasant surprise. It's great that this series is getting such a following nowadays, especially outside of Japan. Can't wait to play this; Atlus has a real home run franchise in Persona.
Half-Life 3 isn't even formally announced yet and the Steam Machines are said to be released sometime next year. That's a pretty small amount of time to go from official announcement to full release. I think Valve would do something a bit smaller-scale for the Steam Box launch.
Yeah, Duke Nukem Forever had big problems with frequent developer changes and financial issues. Besides, Valve takes care of their properties pretty well, so I agree with Angels3785 that this is a very different situation.
Fool us once...
Skyrim, huh? I never would've thought that, honestly. Very interesting list!
This submission makes it sound like Miyamoto is the cause of all the problems at Nintendo right now, which I'm pretty sure he's not.
Wow...this really is a new low. I don't know where to start with this article...
You clearly haven't played X or Y, which were a pretty substantial jump forward for the series' structure, all things considered.
God, Nintendo, knock it off and just make the game already.
Interesting...
Not sure how a new Crash game would go about (would it be a retro kind of thing like the original or something completely new), but I'd love to see this license go back to Sony. The Crash games that were on Playstation are still fantastic to play.
I'd rather pay money for the minigames I actually like to play like Bowling and Tennis than a full-price five-minigame purchase featuring those I don't. The ability to pick your favorites and pass on others is a big pro for me.
Also, giving pros and cons their own individual scores and averaging them is a really confusing way to assign a verdict.
A point-and-click game on 3DS that doesn't use the stylus and touch screen for the cursor? That's...a really bad decision, actually.
The easiest way to completely discredit an argument against Nintendo is to use the "kiddy console" card. Just a fact.
I agree with a lot of your statements.
It's clearly not fair to compare a one-year-old console to two consoles that launched this month, but when the Wii U first came out, a lot of people were comparing it to the PS4 and Xbox One, two consoles that WEREN'T EVEN RELEASED YET.
That puts the whole video game community into perspective. I sure do wish people would just play the games they like instead of bash other consoles online. Oh well. Can't stop...
Even as I wait impatiently for the update that will allow PS4 external capture, I found this freakin' hilarious. Michael's a riot.
That's only part of the issue brought up in this article...
I agree with @MajorAly that Adam has had his share of overreactions, whether it's the God of War IV problem or the PS4 rant on Twitter, but as a writer, he's really good at what he does. He does tend to articulate himself a bit too well (he kind of words up his sentences), but I still like the way he examines the games. It just works well to me.
I honestly expected a 2/5 for Ryse, but as the review embargo date approached, I still had a bit of hopeful curiosity that t...
Me too. The launch lineup has been getting the most attention these days, so it's good to know these two games are still getting their share of anticipation as well.
Sunset Overdrive looks crazy awesome.
I've heard good, if not great things about this game. Definitely a download for me!
