What is the difference between this and the "Divine" edition?
I enjoyed what they did with FFXII, which is what XI should have been. Still, my favorite is and will always be the masterpiece Final Fantasy VI. The characters, the story and Uematsu's memorable soundtrack blew me away when I was a child. <3 Aria di Mezzo Charatte <3
None of the videos I've seen for FFXIII have interested me as far as story is concerned, but I'm going to get it. I love Final Fantasy and need my RPG fix.
I have been trouble pairing my PS3 controllers and my keypad, but I think this issue has existed pre-3.10. I get an error 80121604 but I discovered it's because one of my USB cables has a short in it and messes up the pairing of the keypad (I keep my controllers and keypad hooked up most of the time, though not all the time). Sometimes I turn the PS3 on and the controller or keypad will just flash constantly without pairing.
I am in the process of downloading the JP demo again as at first glance Bayonetta looked much better than I remembered. The US demo is also approximately 500MB larger than the JP. I just hope they iron out the terrible screen tearing before release.
Glad I am not the only one who feels the Tony Hawk games have run their course. I had so much fun with THPS2 on the PSone and every installment after has been pretty much the same. It's nice they tried to give the series a fresh start with the motion board, but that doesn't seem to work. Take 3 or so years off and design something truly groundbreaking or just don't even bother.
I mostly use Situational Awareness and alternate among Monkey Man, Fleet Foot and Sure Foot. DTI helps alot and I use it when I need a change of pace. Looking forward to the Badges of Honor, though.
Delete your update installs from the Game Data Utility, then reinstall them. I now have double cash.
still no double cash. It SHOWS as double, but the actual tally is the same, or less, as normal.
I've been waiting for this update since launch! I am glad that Media Molecule still supports this game so well. Solid update. Looking forward to better network stability. Snoogins pleased!
opened, display case with disc in a paper sleave, which was most likely passed around by the employees like the town prostitute. My 2nd Uncharted 2 disc and Oblivion GOTY were sold to me like that. This is why I shop Amazon.
Yes, I am a sheep for forming my own opinion on the matter. I am an idiot for having a different perspective than yours, which yours is quite obviously tunnel vision. I neither attacked Activision or Infinity Ward (in fact, if you are so fond of people reading others' comment histories, you'd see I recently called IW a great developer). However, I defended other peoples' opinions that you were so quick to dismiss and make blanket claims that we are all fanboys. A sheep does not question. ...
Perhaps they are thinking for themselves instead of just grazing along in green pastures? No one is denying Infinity Ward is a good developer, however, one should wonder why there is locked content on the disc.
So quick to judge other people, proving yourself to be a fanboy with an unmistakable bias for Infinity Ward. Some people choose not to be sheep and question things when they appear suspicious. Most likely NotSoSilentBob is basing his speculation on the fact PC gamers have read the directory files (or whatever) for MW2 have discovered locked modes and content on the disc, not knowing its purpose. Sure, you could ignore it and put all your faith in almighty Activision/Infinity Ward never to ...
That is a nice list of Wii games for next year. I'd be wary of anything with the Square-Enix logo, but I'm really curious how Epic Mickey will turn out. Gothic Disney with Warren Spector at the helm; if that formula somehow fails, color me spellbound.
Also, shame we never hear about Sadness anymore. It looked amazing.
Virtual Console, in my opinion, is the best part of the Wii. I've had a good time throughout the decades with gaming, but my fondest memories lie in the NES/SNES era. Oh the days Nintendo and Squaresoft were in their primes, pumping out Mario RPG, Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, and my favorite, Final Fantasy III (VI).
I am a hardcore gamer and have been ever since I could play as General Custer raping Native American women on the Atari 2600. I don't hate the Wii, just find it plagued by mostly shovelware garbage and a first party that sang its originality swansong years ago. Mario, Zelda, Metroid, rehash after rehash but still a hell of a lot of fun. I wish I could play MadWorld and Muramasa: Demon Blade. Other than that, the console doesn't appeal to me. At least Sony and Microsoft still cater to the...
I doubt a party system and cross-game chat would become premium (paid for) services. They are features making the online experience easier and more stream-lined, but not enough to warrant an extra free as these are a matter of convenience, not necessity. Of course, this is my opinion and I am not an insider, so I speak on pure speculation. There are plenty of undiscovered venues for Sony to find profitability and leave their current offerings as-is. The rental subscriptions and the untapp...
Sony is doing every PS3 owner a great service by allowing us to play freely online, while offering (in most cases) dedicated servers. If Sony can discover more venues to keep that service available indefinitely, then I encourage them. As several have stated elsewhere, I would love to see:
PSN Video Rental subscription
PSN Game Rental subscription
Comic/Magazine/eBook subscriptions for PS3/PSP
All of which, I would most likely support. One of the things...
I tried to sync trophies after the update and got the error. After cussing at the TV screen, I tried again and succeeded. Still too early to tell, but the 80121604 bluetooth sync error stopped popping up on my screen since the update, at least.
MAJOR BEWBAGE!
