You claim the 360/PS3 versions look the same, but what of the claims of slightly washed out colors on the PS3? Also, is the annoying v-sync issues and screen tearing from the demo still existent in the final product?
I would have enthusiastically bought this game if the differences were negligible.
Many, many months ago, the rumor mongers were kicking around the notion Sony was in the process of developing a ninja game called "Silhouette". I absolutely adore feudal, medievil Japan and welcome any game inspired by it. I wouldn't mind seeing KOEI make a remake of Inindo: Way of the Ninja for that matter.
was this not posted several weeks ago?
In this case, I would place most of the blame squarely on Platinum Games' shoulders. Blame PG for not having the foresight to develop the game with the PS3 also in mind, while delivering the game to SEGA with such a little budget and time to make an equal port. We've seen how well SEGA can make a game when it's optimized for the PS3, such as Yakuza 3 and Valyria Chronicles as you've said, so we know they're capable of it. While this game is still playable and only a problem to the perfecti...
Best Buy has been offering this deal for a long time now with Geek Squad. Sure, it's unethical and the practice disgusts me, but if people are damn stupid enough to pay $99 to have someone connect a few cables, they deserve to be ripped off like the consumist sheep they are.
I went through 3 of their fans with my old XBOX 360s and they all shared the same problems: loud as a jet engine and after a month or so of use, the fans would sound like they're grinding coffee. However, they did a great job of lowering the system temperature of the launch 20GB and Elite SKUs. The design most certainly looks odd for the slim model and their decision to ditch using a separate AC adapter is disappointing. I may give it a shot once it releases and has been reviewed.

It's been over 3 years and I'm still waiting for the real PSone classics to hit the PSN. Why it has taken Square-Enix this goddamn long to trickle out the hits (we all know how they love to squeeze water from a rock for pretty much everything now) is mind-boggling to say the least. I held off on buying the Valkyria DLC last week (was on sale for $2.99 a pop) in hopes they'd finally deliver Vagrant Story to our shores. Xenogears is absolutely a must-buy for me, as well as you and probably a...
Remake? No.
Reprint? Yes.
When it comes close to the release of The Last Guardian, I expect to see a remastered release of both ICO and Shadow of the Colossus, though. If not, I'll cry. Don't make a fat guy cry. It ain't pretty.
I care, that's why I bought my 80GB PS3 back in 2008. Now it's dead and I have a 120GB in its place, gimped to only support PSone games. "What's the big deal? Just buy a PS2 and stop crying about it!" To those who have this mentallity: The older systems are becoming harder to find/replace, and in a year's time all that will be left are PS3s and refurbished time bombs. I hope BC comes back in software form and every future PlayStation product supports it. Sony in its third gen...
I've got the Krull DVD over there on my tower. I loved it to death when I was a child. It's so campy now that I watch it with a more experienced mind. The moving environment does seem similar to Krull; however, Dark Sector definitely ripped Krull off with the Glaive.
Bubbles to you both for knowing about Krull.
The only thing God of War needs is more cowbell... err, I mean, God of War does a lot, and it does it exceptionally well. However, I wish the combat had more depth than being a step above a mindless hack and slash. Add more movesets and more weapon variety. Have certain creatures require certain weapons to defeat them in a system best described as a spiritual rock-paper-scissors. It'd be great if every weapon had its own complete fighting style as well and not just slightly modified moves...
GOW's unlockable bonus features and GOW II's story explain the relationship between Kratos and Zeus, so there should not be any uncertainty concerning it.
Edit:
Yeah, in the GoW universe; just a character Jaffe thought up, which could work considering Zeus pretty much screwed anything that moved. lol I'm reading up on the titan Kratos at the moment, though. Name meaning "strength" which is very appropriate for this character.
I love Greek mytholog...
Well, you know what they say about people who ASSume.
Now both people that bought it can play it together. I kid, I kid.
Happy holidays, everybody.

"You can download the title to up to 5 different PLAYSTATION 3 systems, just as any other PlayStation Store title..."
Notice the "5" instead of your claim of "3?" The only exception being titles under NDRM such as Warhawk and Socom, where you CAN share, but have play restrictions. So your claim of reduced download...
A bubble for you catching the reference! I love It's Always Sunny, but must admit this recent season was a disappointment with exception to a few episodes.
Yeah, Dolph Lundgren, dude! Now how about this: he runs around on all fours, like a dog, and his face is one giant nose! Plus... he can smell crime!
Uematsu-san has been called "The John Williams of Video Game Music," but he, in my opinion is far greater than such a lowly title. His contributions to the Final Fantasy series are breathtaking, VI in particular is my favorite game soundtrack of all time.
I also love the work of Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger, Xenogears), whose contributions lately are few and far between.
I was very disappointed they didn't show actual gameplay, which will be indicative of how much they have improved over the predecessor. This is the only reason i watched that crap awards show. What was shown looked very nice, but it left me dissatisfied, hungry for me.
While the graphics were not impressive, I do love the style, music and combat of Bayonetta's demo. I am a big fan of God of War and have been since I was blown away by the Hydra battle many years ago, but I still feel this game should get the credit it deserves as Kamiya is a talented director. My anal retentive nature and tight wallet prevent me from forking out $65 for a sloppy port, though. :\
