I just finished the demo and I feel like it gave me blue balls. The experience is outstanding and just before the climax, you hit the demo's end and it just frustrated the hell out of me. Controls are awkward, especially the movement, but the interaction is deep. All of the naysayers, if they still exist, have no grounds to criticize the game. Looking forward to it almost as much as I am for God of War III.
I'd love it if someday Goichi Suda and Hideo Kojima get together and ...
Has anyone considered that XBL is more juvenile than PSN because more people:
A) Have a mic
B) Play online
I've met plenty of juveniles, both older and younger, playing online with PSN. Makes me wish I had a death note.
The game was fun, consisting of good music, story, characters and a nice variety of upgradeable powers. I played through it 5 or more times (mostly to get platinum on two accounts), but having played through the game so many times, I became frustrated with its game-breaking glitches and lack of side-mission variety. Beyond the story, there were only a handful of mission types which were repeated in different locations, and other than doing the stunts and searching for the shards, very littl...
Difficulty tweaks?!? Sure, the game was frustratingly difficult in the later stages, but that was part of its charm. Gamers don't need to be pampered like babies, instead challenged so they can earn those trophies and grow some hair on their chest. Shame on anyone who passed on the 50% off deal. This game was a brilliant puzzler.
Let's not forget that Microsoft also dropped the price of their highest SKU by $100 a week after the Sony price-cut. In addition to that, Microsoft offered $50 mail-in rebate for a short period, as well as the retailer incentive programs that occured quite frequently (Gamestop, Walmart, Amazon, Target...well pretty much every major retailer) through out the remainder of the year and has been outsold with the exception of a month or two by the PS3 in America, which is heavy 360 territory. Of...
Having waited for the game to hit the bargain bin (didn't take long for the price to drop, but I was still hessitant), I finally got it from Amazon tonight. Just now reaching the 2nd chapter, I've realised that I have been missing out on a great experience. My hat is off to EA for making this title possible.
Should have been there in the beginning. Now if only they could fix the resolution, textures and screen tearing.
I didn't give a crap about this game, which is why I avoided the beta. However, recently, I'm actually growing a lot of interest in it. The reviews are questionable in that they seem to be based on initial impressions and bad experiences with noobs instead of giving the game more time and judging it on its inherent merits. Screw the reviews, though. I may end up getting this game yet, as it looks like a fun experience with a lot of depth when you dig beneath the initial impressions.
Teasing us PS3-only gamers by submitting this in the PS3 section along with 360 and PC.
I'm watching the Sci Vs. Fi special on Mass Effect 2 right now. The game looks bayud ayuss, more cinematic and darker. Loved the first one, but since I no longer have my 360, I hope they bring the trilogy to the PS3.
Duke Nukem Forever and its sequel will be out before Wardevil is. Haley's Comet will come back around before Wardevil is released. lol
You can purchase it for $20 from Walmart or Gamestop, without a promotion.
Double post. Please disregard.
More like Buckaroo Banzai. lol What an odd choice to host.
Especially during the fight you mentioned. Even with a fully upgraded and unlimited M50 magnum, she would still get her dumb ass overrun and killed in single player on Professional difficulty.
Other than the disappointing story and lack of chills (the beginning was creepy, at least), I found it to be an addicting game I easily pumped over 150 hours into. Just a shame we only got 3/4 a game and have to pay extra to get the rest.
HIDDEN GAME MODES DISCOVERED IN MODERN WARFARE 2

It looks like Global Thermonuclear War is turning ...
The Hades pic is the only one among the set that I find suspect, while the rest appear to be in-game. I could be wrong and I'm perfectly fine with that. Looks absolutely beautiful from an artistic perspective, then again, art was never a weak point for the God of War series.
Bubble for your time.
HHG exaggerated a bit, stating MGS4's install times were 15 minutes when they were actually just 2 minutes between chapters. From what I've read, reviewers claim Bayonetta needs to load when you do things such as going through menus just to change settings. Not exactly comparing apples to apples here.
I agree that SEGA should have delayed this game until it was brought closer to an equal port. I don't care about the pixel count as much as the terrible screen tearing in the demo. I have not played the final version, so I haven't experienced the alleged loading issues or framerate dips; thus my asking how different the two versions really are. I want to know as both a consumer and a gamer. I trust actual gamer experiences more than media outlets.
Gamekult can lick my butt. Considering (if I recall correctly) they are one of France's larger media outlets for gamers, they should hold themselves and be held accountable for how they express their opinions. Forsaking the true objective nature of journalism, they tend to be more introspective in their reviews, placing personal preference above weighing a game based on its own merits. While I have not played the full game (and they probably haven't, either), the demo simply blew me away w...
