It's feeling like PS2 all over again for me. Much like my 1st PS2, my 80GB BC model was the first to go after a year and a half of use. My 2nd PS3 was a launch slim and the HDD failed to start working. Couldn't even access safe mode so I know that's what happened. Here's hoping 3rd time is a charm. At least I bought another store exchange warranty just in case. This damn shortage came at the worst possible time.

I was hoping I got the newer 2101A slims. The one I did get s...

I was lucky to arrive during a shipment of 120 giggers today at the local Gamestop. My 2nd PS3 died this week and I was bound to waiting on Gamestop to get some in so I could use my warranty exchange. This is fvcking ridiculous how poorly consoles are made these days!

This must be why they have PS.Blog.Share now, to find reasons to charge.

Bring Final Fantasy Origins, Xenogears and Vagrant Story to the US PSN for fuksake! They'd make millions easy if they'd finally get their heads out of their asses long enough to do it.

Freedom Fighters?

Siligon said it's Cold Winter, though. I tried to think of any squad-based shooters on the PS2 and Freedom Fighters just popped into my head. I really enjoyed the hell out of that game.

$15 for a MAP PACK??? LOL There's going to be a lot of suckers who are going to be desperate enough to justify Activision's greed by buying it, too. Don't kid yourselves, it's going to happen. Thank God what little interest I had in finally jumping into the Modern Warfare craze is now non-existent. Hopefully the recently sacked former heads of Infinity Ward form a new company with a much less bloodthirsty publisher so their product and its supporters don't get milked this badly.

Probably controls just like Diablo on the PlayStation. Or they could use the analog to point and click on the screen, or use motion. I'd say the PS3 version could easily have mouse support.

A shortage isn't necessarily a bad thing to anyone except the eager consumer. In fact, a shortage could spur demand into higher volumes, encouraging the impulse shopper to grab it lest they miss out. Such a paranoid fervor aided the Wii early on.

I'd say the current climate is that many are becoming numb to violence, especially myself. There was once a time I had a conflicted conscience playing games like Grand Theft Auto due to its need for violence. Now I'm numb to violent entertainment and am hardly moved to real violence.

As for glorifying violence, that exists in video games, movies, television and the dark corners of the internet. The American culture seems to glorify violence, in some cases encouraging it, while...

The grenades have a lot of issues. The radius was fine, it was the inconsistency of that radius. A grenade would detonate 5 meters away and kill you, but detonate under someone's feet and they wouldn't even be affected. Grenades are broken on inclines (hills, stairs, etc.) where I would throw them at someone's feet and it would detonate doing nothing, or disappear into the ground or wall in places like The Temple and do nothing. They need to fix more than just the radius, but all of the g...

I had never heard of this game until last week's GTTV. Looks like LittleBigPlanet meets Excitebike. Yet another Play, Create, Share title for the library, but I wouldn't mind having that other Indie games finalist that the XBLA is getting and I'm too forgetful to remember the name.

All modes except Co-Op Objective.

This game and Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planewalkers are two XBLA titles I am looking forward to land on PSN. I hope this game costs $9.99 at the most, which I'd easily lay down the green.

I remember my friend reading me an article from GameInformer referring to a rumor Home could eventually become a premium application. IF video streaming and music streaming ever become a reality, I can see Sony charge for such features, obviously beyond the purchasing of the appliances in Home. There was a point where lots of "freemium" content was being released, such as public spaces, but it seems its mostly premium content now. I'm very wary of what Sony plans to do with their...

First, Naughty Dog appeased 30% of the community who actually liked the Crushing weekend by lowering the health even more, which actually caused a hell of a lot of backlash from a majority of the population. This removes the skill involved in the game, allowing every noob, except the completely useless morons I get stuck with, easy kills.

Secondly, as each patch comes into play, even more glitches are made possible, which the funking losers love to exploit and there's really no ...

5 hours of hands-on time has brought me to this conclusion: I absolutely hate the changes. Grenades have a much stronger and wider range of knock-down, some people even recovering faster than others from it. M4 is overpowered, as is the FAL. Still have issues of dying from grenades which are very far away and people not dying from grenades right next to them. Also, the dying from bullets shot through cover and even walls is still present and ever frustrating. I'm sure some of the masoch...

Very curious to know how this update affects Invalid Booster users. Also, I'm happy they added a method to remove AFK players. It was fun blowing them up, but really hurt match balancing.

Sony Computer Entertainment has 3 individual companies dealing with the three major territories: SCEA, SCEE and SCEJ. There was a discount on Trine for SCEE, which had no effect on SCEA and SCEJ. Now it's SCEA's turn to benefit from a generous price reduction on a fantastic game.

$9.99 is a steal for the amount of content and trophies you get with this game. I'd have gotten it sooner, but I knew it'd eventually get a deal like this.

$9.99 was the magic number.

I've always had interest in Heavy Rain for its noirish style. Having played through the demo, I am anxious to get my hands on the final product. Critically the game will do quite well, though it may not reach Uncharted 2 numbers. The sales may struggle due to being niche and a new intellectual property, at least at first, but to those that play it it will most certainly be one of the most memorable games of this generation. Those who love Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit, you are in for a real ...
