I'd definitely welcome that. It'd be a great thing in that it almost guarantees mod support for the PS3 version (like UT3 had).

ITT a bunch of butthurt fanboys who are taking an innocent joke too far, so they ignore logic and continue to WHINE about it.

You butthurt 360 fanboys are comparing apples to oranges here. You cannot compare Aaron Greenberg and whichever other Microsoft troll's completely innaccurate mudslinging to this fictional character's light-hearted, and spot-on humor. All of the Big 3 are guilty of dirty marketting, so get the hell over it. Kevin Butler's character isn&#...

Valve/Steamworks integration bigger than FFXIII on 360. Fixed. This opens the floodgates to a relationship between Valve and Sony for future titles. When Gabe came out, my jaw hit the floor. Big bombshell, even if Portal 2 isn't necessarily big news.

Well, he did say Kevin told him he was the VP of Sharpening Objects. LOL

Would it kill them to come up with a new IP? How long has it been since they created a new first-party IP that didn't star one of their iconic characters? Still, a hell of a solid line-up, one title I think is going to be amazing most specifically Epic Mickey (because it's Warren Specter!!!) and Retro is probably going to blow minds with their take on Donkey Kong, especially considering what they did with Metroid.

Oh my, didn't realise I was still commenting in...

Kinect, while it can be considered a glorified PS Eye, does open up room for innovation. However, no matter how many steps it takes forward, its drawbacks bring it further away from its potential to innovate.

One of the most significant issues is the lag. It's not a minor problem that can be overlooked, but a highly noticeable issue, and when the software requires precise timing and movement accuracy, it needs to have as little lag as possible.

My money's on (not literally, I doubt I'll fork a penny) Home having PSN+ exclusive content, such as media streaming and clubs. Part of me dreads the announcement tomorrow. I doubt Sony will suddenly begin charging for online play, especially since it's one of the features constantly advertised, but many of the most frequently requested items will probably fall into the premium.

Kojima mentioned he wanted to make an HD ZoE2, so the ZoE Collection is bound to release before the inevitable ZoE3.
There once was talks of Kojima doing an FPS as well as zombie MMO.
Kojima and Suda51 remake of Snatcher, which I want more than any other possibility.
A new Metal Gear, which I hope isn't the case as the franchise, and Kojima, both need a break now.

The man never runs out of ideas and I bet he is worked to exhaustion. Poor Kojima-sa...

When I read the headline, I went OH SHlT!!! I missed out on these games last gen, and if the price is right, will dive head first into this collection. I bet Adam Sessler is creaming in his pants at the mention of this collection.

Gaming journalists really don't enjoy surprises, especially since they seek out every leak and, in this case, wish to report of Jaffe's presence. Of course anyone with a few brain cells could guess Jaffe was fibbing to lower our guard as well as expectations, but I willingly choose naivety so as to be surprised when the bombshell is dropped. I expect a lot of surprises from Sony's conference tomorrow. It's going to be a great day for both fans of Nintendo and Sony alike.

The visuals look great. Not genre-defining or better than anything else out there, but still great. Much more intense lighting and shadows. The environments look well-detailed and no noticeable fogging. Really loved the explosions and plasma blasts. The combat shown wasn't impressive, and I would have appreciated seeing more intense firefights, but that seamless transition into space combat surprised the hell out of me. Bungie might have a masterpiece on their hands.

Marisa was fun to look at, until she spoke. lol Unconvincing as a gamer, and I would have had a hell of a lot more enthusiasm for being there. I'll be honest, The Force Unleashed trailer was pretty badass and actually made me want to pick up the original in anticipation for the sequel. However, it was nowhere near as impressive to me as the Deus Ex trailer.

F*** these stupid trailers. I was bored watching most of GTTV, not because of the lackluster hosting, poor production values or commercials every 5 minutes, but the CGI or non-gameplay videos. I was hoping for GT5 gameplay and not another boring in-engine photo mode ride around the track. I'm sure we can all agree we're tired of this and just want to see the actual bread and butter. I'm starving over here!!!

The PS3, a console selling at a higher price point than the most popular console this generation (the Wii), having still yet to hit the sweet spot price for massive market penetration, is outselling both of its rival consoles in Japan. Sales spikes are seen during holidays and during releases of Japan-centric titles, which God of War and games of similar Western influence sell poorly in the land of the rising sun, so one shouldn't expect to see such titles to cause a hardware shift. Whi...

What I think he meant was make a great Bond game (I could be mistaken), though I thought Everything or Nothing was a great game (Willem Dafoe as a villain? Sweet!). Now that I remember, it had a decent cover system predating Gears of War as well. EoN also had levels that offered you several ways to complete them, multipath vehicular levels, different Achievement style objectives which unlocked more features, a co-op online campaign and competitive multiplayer. Felt like a real Bond experi...

This is a terrible idea. Almost as bad an idea as Konami seeking Western developers to develop their games in the first place.

I don't know what it is with Japan this generation, but they are ruining most of their best franchises (RE, DMC, Silent Hill, Bionic Commando, etc.)

Yes, because it isn't coming from some garbage North American studio (what the hell does the American mainstream know about horror anymore?).

No, because it's from an unproven studio and NOT Team Silent.

I've pretty much disowned the franchise, which used to be one of my favorites, because of its offerings this generation.

As I've said under a separate article, I'm on my 3rd PS3 now. The first one, an 80GB fat BC model, experienced YLOD 1 1/2 years of use. The second was a slim which suffered HDD failure 6 months of use. I take better care of my electronics than some people do for their children, so it definitely was a case of bad luck. An extended warranty would give peace of mind, even if it wasn't necessary.
