With that said, I believe Forza 3 will still be an excellent game that any car enthusiast will enjoy. Personally, my experience with Forza 2 did not please me as I wasn't a fan of the driving physics or the terrible visuals. I have only watched Forza 3 be played and it still doesn't seem my cup of tea, but I am in love with the community features.
I assume you bought Forza 3, so you get to experience the game yourself.. Enjoy it, as many other people are. Be wise and keep the...
I disagree with you further, gameart, for a couple reasons.
Firstly, there was no delay, low-key or grand, to the release of GT5, as there would have to be an official release date to be made to delay. The "Q4 2009" present on Tokyo Game Show's official programme deals with a Fiscal Year (FY) calender, an industry standard, beginning April 1st (Q1) and ending March 31st (end of Q4). March 2010, the official release date, falls under Q4 2009. Now you understand the FY...
I think it will be interesting to see how GT5 performs compared to its previous iterations. More factors are at play here, considering the PS2 and Gran Turismo didn't have any serious competition then, and the PS3 and GT must now contend with the 360 and Forza franchise. Some people will buy both, some will buy Forza and PS3-only owners like me will be buying GT5. I am confident GT5 will easily sell more than Forza 3, but how much more compared to it and the previous GTs is anyone's guess....
I didn't buy Prologue because essentially it is as they say "a glorified demo." You can bet your sweet behind that I'm going to buy GT5, day one if finances are permitting and I haven't met my maker
@Sky007 I too am a huge Metal Gear junkie. MGS4 was partly ruined by jerkoff 360 fanboys at VGChartz sending me spoilers in the mail, which is one of the main reasons I no longer go to that site. Also I had already predicted all the major plot twists because...I am a Met...
Hopefully with the time between now and the NA release, SEGA will improve the port to be closer to the 360 version, improving the framerate in spots and cleaning up the visuals. I'm really anal about some things and I know my hopes can set my expectations too high at times. That and I still need to get my hands on Demon's Souls.
I hope they don't punish people for being disconnected, thinking they quit (I have lost connection a few times). Also, it would be nice if they allowed people to join games in progress or give an option to switch sides to even teams out.
Personally, I am a rather timid person and very reluctant to put myself into any social situations, a characteristic that has become greater considering my private, sedentary lifestyle, though I am not agoraphobic. A roommate of mine from college was agoraphobic and experienced social anxiety disorder on top of that, his social experiences mostly kept to MMOs and friends around the dorm. He was quite the congenial individual and not a douche like this Erik guy in the least.

Yeah, I had a similar incident tonight while playing Uncharted 2. I made a comment about a couple people on my team killing me with grenades throughout the match and started to get trolled by them. Just shrugged it off. There are lots of culturally ignorant, homophobic tough guys on the internet I wouldn't mind giving a Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back style beatdown, like this team of gangsta wannabe wiggers (I apologise if anyone finds that description offensive) making fun of some Spani...
his ignorant, racist mouth has probably pissed off enough Bay Area inhabitants to have his ass kicked on sight. People like this make me not want to bother using my mic when I play.
...so that I can mooch off my brother's Netflix subscription. hehehe
I was one of those who razzled on RE5 when it first came out for being a giant step back from what the franchise had become with Mikami. Then one day my brother surprised me with a copy and I reluctantly played it. While it isn't the best in the series I had a hell of a lot of fun playing it (over 120 hours and counting). The co-op is a treat, as long as you're playing with a human and not the mentally handicapped A.I. Plenty of treasures to find, bonuses to unlock and Mercenaries is addi...
AMEN!
I've come across a lot of glitches where walls disappear and there's an awful lot of pop-in. The most memorable glitch was on Chapter 10 or 11 as you leave the temple. I turned around to go back inside and everything beyond the temple door disappeared and was only white space with floating propane tanks. I stepped into the white space and fell, holding on to the edge of the floor at the doorway. Freaked me out, but in a good way.

Read Evan Wells' response to question #1, regarding use of the PS3's power. Here's a snippet for the lazy:
"...by the end of the project we were able to hit 100% usage. So a...
...then add an extra $49.99 for the LIVE subscripton to fully enjoy MW2 after the free month of Gold, and the AA batteries for each controller to replace the ones that will come with the system considering they have no built in battery, or a Plug & Play kit and extra battery for those controllers (an extra $31.98). Wi-fi optional, if you don't want CAT-5, but the PS3 having it built in more than makes up for that extra controller.
I guess that $50 more just became $131.97 mo...
This flip-flopping of PR statements could be happening for several reasons:
1: To keep the media and gamers' attention on their product as a cheap way to build hype and advertise.
2: To test the waters and see if potential consumers on a different console than previously supported will take the bait, making the port less of a gamble.
3: Strong arm Microsoft into caving in and offering huge bank for an exclusivity contract.
4: PR is actually slipping up and the m...
...to Sony, and a real STEAL for the consumer!
I've been playing non-stop since Tuesday. No freezes here. I think people's freezing might be caused by a heat stressed console. Both my 80GB and Slim would do that, but since I moved my PS3 down to the bottom of my TV stand where it doesn't share the heat of both my cable box and stereo receiver on the glass shelf below, it's been performing very well.
Capcom was out of their minds when they decided to charge $4.99 for a couple hundred kilobytes of code taking advantage of information already on the disc. I may have budged at $2.99, but not the initial price. At this point, I'll only care when it's free. Until then, I'll get plenty of use from the other modes, that is, when I'm not playing Uncharted 2.
I never played Jak & Daxter back when I had a PS2, so other than the original Crash Bandicoot, Uncharted is what turned me on to Naughty Dog. Whatever game they work on next most likely will earn my $60, and hopefully it'll be an HD remastered Jak collection to be the precursor for the release of a new Jak game.
