6 people on my list have PSN+. I know at least one more is signing up and I might be joining eventually. The service is stripped bare, but I'm sure it'll come into its own. The money you save on discounts is amazing and you get to keep the DLC, the avatars and the themes. Some might not like that you essentially rent 3 or 4 titles a month instead of keeping them, but how long would you honestly play these games once you beat them and get the trophies?
PSN+ is grea...
OK, guys, it's time you finally open up your wallets to pay for Trine, now that it is officially half the price it was when it came out. Great side-scrolling adventure title with story, charm and RPG elements. Not to mention TONS of easy trophies, including a platinum.
Yep, you sir are correct. I did infact get it mixed up with Full Range RGB. I was the clueless one. lol
The discussion among gamers and the Eidos rep for Deus Ex: Human Revolution about requesting an HD remake of the original Deus Ex has got me hoping that it will happen. I'm sure Jak and Ratchet will eventually get the treatment, as will ICO. Regardless of the recent rumor-killing, I bet Killzone will also get the HD treatment. I'd like to see these series to be rereleased:
Silent Hill
Metal Gear Solid: Essentials
Zone of the Enders 1 and 2

I was using a turn of phrase, because OBVIOUSLY the PS3 hasn't been around since the age of the dinosaurs. However, disagreeing that Deep Color isn't a new feature just shows how absolutely clueless you are with the PS3's features. I've been using Deep Color since I got my HDTV back in January.
No. It succeeds in both singleplayer as well as its freshman attempt at multiplayer. However I, like many, don't like the changes made to multiplayer where it is now more frustrating than ever. Hopefully, the next title in the series will offer more open areas and different ways to complete each chapter. Also, the next game BETTER HAVE DEDICATED SERVERS! The unfair host advantage and lag makes things quite unbalanced.
I agree with the author only in that I enjoyed t...
Deep Color (HDMI) has been there since dinosaurs roamed the earth.
Fanboys such as you are such idiots. I feel sorry for you, I really do, and that last braincell you hang on to.
Is Qore now included with PSN Plus? Can someone link me to official confirmation? I thought I read it was, but can't seem to find the info.
I don't understand how you can say Sheva's AI was the best you've ever seen. There were many times I yelled at the TV, "Sheva, you stupid whore!" especially in Professional Mode. She did nothing but drag down my rank and use up my herbs.
RE5, though fun and a game I sunk over 100 hours into, had a lot of things I didn't like, and co-op wasn't one of them. The out-dated tank controls, level design, story and lack of scare factor are what made this the weaker of the series. I DO NOT like Jun Takeuchi; he's not even a poor-man's Mikami and all of his games show his lack of vision. Capcom should consider rebooting the series and outsourcing the game to Platinum Games or Mikami's new studio. For the love of...
When I looked at 2am, it said Blur for $19.99 across all three platforms at 67% off. <checking...>
Yep, they changed it. Kudos to the early birds who got it for $19.99 before the change!
I love Metal Gear (REALLY LOVE) but I want Kojima to take a break from it to work on other projects, including new IPs. I want to see ZoE3 and the ZoE HD Collection, a new Snatcher and to see him possibly make an RPG or a survival horror game. MGS4 felt like the conclusion the series needed, so he and his team should finally move on, at least for a few years.
Knowing Activision's typical laziness in development, they probably won't even support motion controls. Judging from their handling of MW2 and its DLC...hell even Prototype and the cow that is Guitar Hero, they choose to take the quickest way to the buck with quality taking a back seat.
It depends on how much you enjoy Uncharted 2 multiplayer. The maps for Drake's Fortune expansion are great, but, in my opinion, the Siege pack is amazing with a slightly different take on Survival and 2 of the best (my favorite) maps in the game. My only problem with the Siege pack map Museum is that it is terrible for Plunder due to poor chest placement by Naughty Dog.
I have more fun doing competitive modes like Plunder, King of the Hill, Turf Wars and Chain Reaction with good, competent players (which sadly I am always designated the short bus) than I do with normal co-op modes. More challenging to me.
My experiences, it takes me forever to find people to play with, usually doing DLC Plunder or All Competitive Modes. I'm willing to guess there are maybe 4-5,000 people online at a time, with between 50-70k overall daily.
The rewards for co-op are much too little for it to ever become popular. Make 3x the money in a half the time, at least in my experience, doing competitive modes.
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure the levels will be well designed and fun, but the main draw, at least for me, was what the 2 previous level kits introduced: game changing tools (water and paintinator). This just seems to only bring more stickers, a background and maybe a few new materials. Unless the price is more reasonable for lacking a tool, I think I'll pass on this one.
If they released the first 4 games (asking for Size Matters might be a bit much), not only would I buy the collection, I'd buy Tools of Destruction, Quest for Booty (though I played and beat it) and A Crack in Time, just to have it all.
