With each patch, they just keep making the game easier. It's so easy, a chimpanzee could play it now. No wonder the user base continues to grow.
If it does for games what Comcast's On Demand does for movies, I'm all for it, so long as this sort of thing doesn't phase out physical copies. Digital is nice, but I still prefer owning a physical copy of my games.

If it's on the disc, then why hasn't the files been discovered yet? Nobody can prove it. All the assets in Versus are already used in Mercenaries, so there's no added graphics, music or maps. Why would it be a bigger download than it is? The Versus menus aren't much different from Mercenaries either, aside from a new background.
Nothing beats free, but considering that the RE series canon hasn't had multiplayer until now and Versus is only $5, I'll gladly pay it.

What I meant by that is how you naturally expect a little more freedom with your character's movement when you have things like strafing. Adding the ability to strafe in RE, in my opinion, threw some people off that are used to those kinds of games. It was a welcomed change, but the people coming off of other games with action control schemes naturally expect more freedom.
The plot had to evolve somehow. Now that RE5 has closed most of the main plot, perhaps RE6 will go back to its roots. I think the action approach was appropriate for RE5 considering it was the big finale.
