It's only racist if you are. It's true that a lot of black characters in games follow a certain stereotype, so it's nice to see some that don't.
What about Zach Hammond from Dead Space? He was pretty badass.
@Elven6: I'm not denying that it was an anticipated game, I'm just saying I never saw anything about it, and I'm a RPG and RTS fan. It must have been one of those games that fell through the cracks for people like me. As for its review scores, they range anywhere between 50% and 92% with a 76% overall on Metacritic. That could explain why it didn't sell too well.
And regarding game sales for handhelds, I never said they don't make the charts, but it's ...
"And how about games like Demigod which reviewed pretty well, had no DRM, and was pirated like no tomorrow? The day after launch only 18, 000 people bought the game and over 120,000 people were playing it online, how does that happen?"
Perhaps that's because it lacked advertising? I'm not even familiar with it, and I'm a video game whore. Can't blame piracy just because a game doesn't sell well. There's plenty of other factors involved.
I swear, fanboys are dumber than a brick. What part of "This coming from a fan" did you not understand? No need to get defensive over a game that's not even out yet.
One missing texture that we know of. Do you know for a fact that it was fixed? Probably not. And how exactly has the AI been reworked? Please show me. Every video I've seen of someone spinning out clearly shows the AI running into them and/or trying to go through them rather than around them. It...
Bad pop-up and really retarded AI from what I've seen. This coming from a fan by the way, not a fanboy trying to bash it. Funny how the fanboys are all quick to defend it, though. Always a 1-sided coin with you guys.
I can and I did, because it's true. But if you want more examples:

People have this misconception that piracy hurts developers when it really doesn't. If that were true, the gaming industry wouldn't be thriving. A penny lost isn't necessarily a penny earned otherwise. People pirate for various reasons. If anything, piracy help...
"Pirates are killing the PC"
If that was really the case, how do you explain StarCraft 2's success? Piracy has been happening on the PC for decades, and yet StarCraft 2 still outsold ALL PC software, which further proves my point that if you make a good game, people will buy it. Even if it doesn't have LAN support. :P You can't even play the pirated release on Battle.net. But even if you could, I doubt it would have made a difference, as many of those s...
Well, I stand corrected. Apparently they're re-shooting the games with new actors and it will be in HD. Wow, they're pulling all the stops.
I don't mind when people disagree with me, but on this? Really?
Trophies and online play would be plausible, but I wouldn't count on HD graphics. It will most likely be emulated versions of the arcade games. At best, the aspect ratio could be adjusted to fit your screen, like UMK3 on XBLA.
Here's an example of how to beat Reptile on Very Hard with a Double Flawless. I made this not too long ago for fun.

The other 2D MKs aren't much different. It's just a matter of knowing how the CPU will react to what you do and exploiting it.
Scorpion's a spectre, not a zombie. Furthermore, you're confusing dead with undead. There's a difference.
How about a top 10 list of top ten lists that fail, starting with this one?
You can't kill what's already dead. ;)
Many of my Lost-loving friends hated the ending because they despise religion. Funny thing is, the show had religious undertones throughout the entire series.
I personally found closure in it. Sucks for them.
I'm kind of out of the loop on this, so if I'm wrong, please correct me.
@Genesis2oo9: You can't really assume it will fail. It's such an epic story, I think it would translate pretty well to a movie. I'm personally glad the movie keeps falling through. That shows me that people want to do it right. But it would take a great deal of money to really do it justice, money that backers are afraid to spend on a video game to movie adaption, despite how successf...
Haunted was a good show. Short-lived indeed. Not sure why it didn't do well when you have shows like Medium and Ghost Whisperer now that don't even compare.
When I played Mass Effect, I remember naming my male character 'Jack' (being a fan of Lost and all).
"PS3 version looks best also..standard obviously."
Based on what?
Aww, a disagree? How is that even possible? Peter Mensah provided his voice and likeness, which automatically makes his character badass. ;D
