When it comes to emotion, you can only speak for yourself. Just because you don't see or feel what someone else sees or feels doesn't mean it's not there. Everyone is different, with different life experiences. This is what shapes our tastes in video games, music, cinema, et cetera. If Limbo draws forth a bit of emotion in some people, all power to them. It's not necessarily a bad thing when a medium affects people in different ways. Isn't that the purpose of art?

@bishop-br

It was a figure of speech, but congratulations for stating the obvious I guess. And it's $50 well spent if it brings my friends and I together, two of which currently reside in Canada and Japan. Getting to talk with them on a daily basis for only $50 a year is far cheaper than a monthly phone bill, and I get to play games with them as a bonus. Furthermore, you don't have to pay anything to chat with someone over Private Chat.

Nice trolling ...

I pity you.

If N4G is any indication of that, I'd have to disagree. There's no denying that Xbox LIVE has a lot of kids on it, but it also has more people using mics. Thank God for Party Chat.

That's bad. Moderation should be convenient, not a hassle. For the most part, the Xbox community is self policed, and just because someone gets reported on Xbox LIVE doesn't necessarily mean they'll get into trouble. The report has to be reviewed, so false reports don't work.

And if you're going to disagree with me, that's fine, but at least give me a logical explanation as to why you think I'm wrong. Things like this only bring the gaming industry one step closer to another crash. It's inevitable at this rate.

How can anyone applaud this? I see many of you that do aren't affected by it. That's no surprise. It's pure greed and it's not right. There are better ways to combat this. As I mentioned in a previous topic about this, they could open their own fucking online store that sells new and used games and offering their own special deals, much like Steam does. I don't expect every developer to want to do this on their own, but they could at least band together and form some kind ...

If it's not his thing, it's not his thing. Some people can't stomach certain things. I do believe that games are a form of expression and I don't think anything should be off limits (that's what rating systems are for), so I agree with most of your points. I just don't agree with all the name calling this guy has received over his opinion. THAT is immature. It's not so hard to respectfully disagree.

No, I agree with you. While I think this guy has every right to his opinion, I didn't particularly agree with what he said about the subject matter not belonging in video games. But he's doing the only thing he can do by choosing not to play it.

My original rant was directed towards people like Focker, thinking he should grow up because of his opinion. That's a pretty arrogant statement.

Wouldn't it be fair to say the same thing to you, that you should grow up for not liking this person's opinion, that you took it seriously enough to make a comment about it on a completely different website? Just sayin'.

You're right, to each his own. I don't see why this guy's getting flamed for his opinion when most of the people here probably don't even have kids, which automatically makes their opinion null and void simply because they can'...

Really looking forward to this but noticed some things I hope they fix before it comes out. In one of those videos (the NASCAR race in Rome), the player spins out and you see another car slow down behind him, but then it starts to push his car as if it's trying to get by. I'm really growing tired of stupid AI.

Haven't played Conviction, but Singularity was a blast. Why does everything have to innovate these days? Why can't a game just be fun?

I have to agree with Johandevries. While I enjoy a good list or two for amusement, there's an overabundance of them lately.

It's morons like this that will be the death of physical media and help garbage services like OnLive to succeed, because they just want it to work with as little effort as possible. No one will actually own anything anymore.

An hour if you already know what you're doing. Definitely not an hour your first time through. I beat Resident Evil 1 (original, not the remake) with Chris in 1 hour and 28 minutes. Doesn't make RE any less of a great game. But to each their own.

I personally love the game, but I don't know if it's worth the $15 price tag. $10 would have been more justified.

The Saw movies are one of the most creative horror franchises to date. I doubt anyone who despises them has actually seen them all. But opinions will vary.

While I do love the movie that introduced the running zombie, 28 Days Later, I'm not really a fan of the concept. That said, I still wouldn't mind a game with both walking and running zombies if done correctly, and it could even be explained by their stage of rigor mortis and decomposition. On one hand, the walking dead are supposed to be dangerous in numbers because they overwhelm. That's what makes them scary. On the other hand, if you give some of them the ability to run, it ma...
