No Castle Crashers? Meh.
Alan Wake doesn't count. It would have been a graphics king if it stayed a PC game, like it was originally going to be, and might have been a better game if it stayed true to its vision (was originally going to be an open world) before it went through several iterations and became a 360 exclusive. The tech demo back in 2006 was amazing, and it was running on a quad-core, which was brand new tech back then. I own a 360 and play it quite a lot (no fanboyism here), and even I knew back then ...
In actuality, Fox News is a laughing stock over here. And we're well aware of our own country's evil doings. Shall we talk about yours? It should be common knowledge by now that a government's actions do not necessarily reflect that of its people.
Bah, wrong reply button.
And Google is owned by the CIA, right?
I've heard this theory before, but that's all it is. None of it has been proven. And it wasn't just three buildings that were destroyed, there was a total of 7 structures aside from the Twin Towers that were either destroyed or damaged beyond repair, as well as an additional 2 structures that were condemned due to toxic conditions, and a few neighboring buildings that were also damaged but have since been restored. There was...
There's a reason people hate us. To turn a blind eye to that is pure ignorance. In most cases, war is merely the blind leading the blind. It amazes me that war still exists in this day and age when we should be smarter than that by now. But like a lot of the morons on this site, stupid breeds stupid I guess. Some things never change.
Do any of you see yourselves when you argue about video games? Too bad you can't take any of it with you when you die. Play what you like and shut the fuck up already.
That only makes sense if you generalize things, but in reality you're getting much more than just the ability to play games online with a Gold account (and don't get me wrong, I think that in itself is lame when we're using our own bandwidth to host games). XBL is a service, whereas Activision makes games with overpriced DLC as it is. Paying to play a single game online may work for MMOs, but most MMOs are free to play these days, relying on the sale of the game itself and an onli...
I hate to burst anyone's bubble, but Tomb Raider died after TR2.
I'm a huge fan of this genre, but I think it's severely over-saturated thanks to Activision. A [insert band name here] Rock Band/Guitar Hero is the last thing the genre needs right now. What it does need is evolution, and Rock Band 3 is doing just that, while Activision continues to do what they do best and regurgitate. The Rock Band series currently has over 1,000 songs available, and with RB3 on the way, I just don't see the point when a band's discography could easily be ad...
But you're biased.
Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat have come a long way since the 90's. I don't see why Killer Instinct wouldn't be able to, so long as they kept the feel of it. As an MK fan, I've waited an eternity for the series to return to its 2D roots.
"Overhype is Alan Wake. You hype it for 6 years for the same reasons, and it falls on its face flat, as well as scores lowly."
You do realize that it was originally going to be a PC game and went through several concepts before it saw the light of day, right? The original tech demo back in 2006 (4 years ago, not 6) -- which ran on an Intel Quad Core, a processor that was brand new at the time -- was nothing short of amazing. When word got out about a 360 release, no...
A little off topic, but with all these LEGO games coming out lately, I'd love to see a LEGO MK.

So what if the developers don't receive a cent from used games? If someone buys a used car, does the manufacturer see a profit? No. What makes the game industry so much more deserving of this? It's nothing more than greed. The real problem is the price of games themselves. Apparently everyone thinks their game is worth $60, no matter how mediocre or unpolished it is. Since I don't really see the price of new games dropping any time soon, there's really only one solution to thi...
This title is misleading. He didn't get eliminated from EVO; while being eliminated in the SSF4 semi-finals, he still went on to win the MvC2 final against Santhrax.
There is no [insert title here] killer. Just the next best thing. Regardless of what comes along, nothing will erase the fun I had while playing GoldenEye, Perfect Dark, Halo and CoD4 with friends. The same concept applies to consoles. I despise MW2 because they took something great and made it ridiculous, but I anxiously await what Respawn has in store.
I think a lot of gamers want graphics over anything else for the wrong reasons, much like how certain stereotypes want a badass looking car, regardless of how it performs. To impress or boast about, in other words.
Now? This is an age old argument.
To answer this question, you must look at the one that came before it: "Will Guitar Hero Die The Way Tony Hawk Pro Skater Did?"
