Why is it that all the KZ3-related comments only talk about graphics? Looks don't mean shit. Any one of these games can lack in the gameplay/story department. As for first impressions, KZ3 looks more FUN than KZ2, RAGE's animations look incredible (plus id has never let me down), and I like how Crysis 2 is in a domestic environment. CryTek isn't known for making games with stories, but we'll see.

The gameplay in this game looks like it will be some of the best in a MK game since UMK3 (competitively speaking). Now add some of the best fatalities we've seen in a MK on top of that. I would have to agree about Prey. I remember the bar scene as it was being ripped apart all around me while Blue Oyster Cult's "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" was playing on the jukebox, before eventually getting sucked into the ship, and remember thinking "holy shit." I enjoyed every minute of the game. Lists like these are always subjective.
TM3's style was a drastic change over past installments. Most notably, the physics of the cars. Twisted Metal was never about realistic physics. This was apparent when they brought back the old feel of the cars in Black.
David Jaffe had nothing to do with TM3 or TM4, and it was obvious. It's like a Metal Gear without Hideo Kojima or a Mario game without Shigeru Miyamoto. You notice the change of style, and sometimes it's not for the better.

The games were fun (when I say games, I'm referring to TM1, TM2 and Black, as the rest sucked). The characters and plot were interesting, the cars had pros and cons, the levels had secrets to them, the games had lots of codes and hidden characters. It was raunchy and dark. Bigger doesn't necessarily mean better. For example, I'd take Burnout Paradise over Fuel any day. I don't want to get ahead of myself and say RDR is the better game, but I definitely think Just Cause 2 got more praise than it deserved.
