We still get European football and rugby games here, even though nobody here really cares about those. Still, why rule it out? Just because you or I don't care for those doesn't mean other people won't. Believe it or not, there's fans of American football in the UK. Should they not get Madden games because you don't like it?
I assume what Michael Jai White really meant was that he's done filming his own scenes in the series. The actor playing Johnny Cage, Matt Mullins (@Sideswipematt), tweeted this just 7 hours ago:
"Thanks Everyone! I start shooting my scenes in Mortal Kombat tomorrow!"
Might want to update your story. ;)
Er, "Might I also add that play testers will not catch everything before a game is released. Many of the fighting games you mentioned are testament to this."
Seriously.
On a side note, I haven't been this excited for an MK game since MKII.
Jesus, I really wish there was a delete button.
"In theory, this could eliminate infinite combos and change attack properties for the better. However, we can’t just be expected to believe in such an easy fix without seeing it in practice. If it works as intended, this could be a revolutionary feature for the genre."
It's not just a theory. This method of tweaking is already implemented into games like Black Ops (weapon variables, among other things, can be adjusted in this way). It won't fix everything, b...
"Oh dear, the way it controls. People play COD because it's easy and most of the shooting is done by the game, I mean the aim assist is a joke but if your crap at a gaming it's a godsend."
You mean like most shooters have now days? It seems to hurt more than it helps in CoD, like when you're aiming at an enemy in the background and another one runs in front of you in the foreground, screwing up your shot. FYI: It can be turned off in Black Ops.

"You can actually feel (!) your limbs in KZ. No other game does achieve that. If you can't handle that, play twitchy shooters."
I think the reason a lot of people love CoD so much is because of how it controls. You can actually "feel" your bullets hitting people. A lot of shooters don't have the same effect or do it as well as CoD. Feel is important in any FPS, and while you may actually feel your limbs in KZ, there are other games that give the sa...

You should have popped your CoD cherry with CoD4. Best CoD in my book. The campaign was extremely good.
@radphil: To be honest, I don't know what issues PS3 players are having with Black Ops. Care to inform me? I heard something about connectivity issues. If that's true, that's one of the things they've been trying to fix in the last 2 updates. It's frustrating, but it hasn't gone unnoticed.
It's true. People bitch way too much. The truth of the matter is you should do your own research before purchasing anything. Don't believe the hype. Rather than dropping $60 on a game right away simply based on its review scores or title (as I'm sure 99% of you do - me included), a smart consumer would rent it first. In that sense, we really have no right to bitch. At least TreyArch is constantly patching the game with bug fixes and tweaks.
How's the view from up there?
I suggest using the article's original title. It's bad enough that people submit their own fanboy-approved, flame bait articles in order to generate traffic, but to submit articles with a modified title that screams "fanboy" is just as ridiculous.
I like how you had to add "Another PS3 Exclusive" to the title. You fanboys need to learn how to properly submit articles.
Coming from someone who has played CoD since the beginning, the CoD community, for the most part, is the worst community I've ever had the displeasure of gaming with. 90% of the morons on it don't know how to play the objectives correctly, insist on camping in their own little world, and don't know the meaning of teamwork. I've seen some unbelievably stupid players on Black Ops. If you don't have friends to play with, don't even bother.
Here's an e...
I'm very passionate about this series, so it bothers me to see that they've added something that doesn't belong. You're comparing a non-canon game (MKvsDCU) to one that is canon. To many, MK equals blood and gore, so Kratos fits the bill. But to most hardcore fans, the mythology is equally as important, if not more so. A guest character has no place here, even if he has no part in the story. For all intents and purposes, I hope the PS3 fans enjoy Kratos, but it's just a ch...
I agree. Fanboys probably think it's jealously, but it's really not. To most fans, this is the first MK that has looked promising in a very long time. It's reminiscent of the MK2 days - the pinnacle of the series - with game play that appears to exceed that of UMK3's. Why taint it with guest characters? The game really doesn't need them. Quite frankly, I'm glad none have been announced for the 360 version thus far.
Er, meant to reply to AwesomeJizz.
There are Formula 1 drivers that have switched to NASCAR and vice versa. These are professional drivers that are very capable of doing both. They're merely different styles of racing with, each with their own set of rules. Have you even seen a NASCAR race at Infineon Raceway? They definitely know how to drive a road course. People like to dumb down NASCAR by saying they simply go in circles, but it's much more than that: Drafting, track temperature, tire pressure, fuel mileage etc. NA...
