"It isn't an exisiting IP/reboot because "The Last of Us" is trade marked to Sony. "
Not exactly what you call conclusive evidence. IPs often go under many names, in particular if they're as secretive as this one supposedly is.
Agree with your other points, and as for the Article - No, Epic's already announcing another title at VGA.
Was hoping they would, I just couldn't be bothered to fill in all the required details at their website to make a comment lol.
"The time line is set before the Xbox/PC games Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic and those are set way before the movies. "
Wrong. The time line of The Old Republic plays decades after The Knights of the Old Republic, with Darth Revan being a prominent theme in some of the side missions.
Assassins Creed: The MMO,
Now instead of getting your money for the franchise on a yearly basis, we can add and charge for expansions every 6 months AND charge you a monthly fee.
I'm guessing it's either an already established franchise, or a new IP by a highly appreciated developer. I see zombies in neither of those.
I'm surprised this game is still online. Couldn't quite believe my eyes when I saw this article.
Interested to see what this is, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't a continuation of a series we already know, a reboot of a series long forgotten OR a new IP from a highly appreciated developer.
I don't think Subscription based MMOs are going away. I think the main problem for most of them at the moment is that they're virtually the same as F2P MMOs, whilst consumers would expect a premium service from a monthly payment model.
This was the problem with games such as Lord of the Rings Online and DC Universe - What they offered didn't really compare to what WoW offers on a monthly basis, the games were under maintained for the amount you had to pay for them...
Thanks for the comments guys, I'll definitely take each of them into consideration :)
@cpayne, it's kind of playing off the phase of a guys life when he's still on the playgrounds. It's "manly" to do anything that girls do not. E.g., if a girl is playing with a ball, the boy won't find it fun any more, because the ball is for girls.
Whilst consciously we understand that that's all just a bunch of b*ll, our subconscious minds are still stuck in that phase, due to the fact that habbits die hard. So if you say "Not for girls!&qu...
Cpayne, a product can never appeal to everyone in the world. Some of the principles of marketing are that, if you have a strong market group and a very weak one, then it's the strong one you should focus on expanding, and that's exactly what these types of commercials are doing. They aren't exactly excluding or prohibiting women from buying it, they're just emphasizing it's meant for guys.
I've seen a large number of companies running slogans similar to this one, including Burger King with one of their burgers.
I think the idea about these commercials is not that Women shouldn't buy them, but it's more to give off the impression that it's very masculine and manly to buy the product, which is something teenage boys will very quickly fall for.
Lol, it's not leaked. Anyone's allowed to take screenshots, record videos, and publish them since last weekend.

There we go. Though the article is different, it's quite suspicious that the title & subtitle are almost identical
I'm having a deja-vu. Repost.
Lol @ the english in that video. According to it, they Threaten you on something, and they have a "What Also" section.
Disregard this comment. I fail at using CTRL+F
Anyone know until what time the Beta is available tomorrow? I'm updating the client now, so I'm just wondering how much playtime I'm going to be able to get out of this.
"In fact, it was a selling point!"
So I'm betting truckloads of consumers bought Ps3 for Linux functionality.
Here in the real world, it was mentioned in interviews and perhaps once or twice in a presentation, but the Ps3 never came with a tagline saying "YOU CAN INSTALL LINUX" when it comes to marketing. In fact, most consumers don't even know it ever had that option.
Blu Ray movies on the other hand have been ma...
