2 years is by no means "shortly after the other", and most big franchises actually have 1 year cycles.
I agree on the 8 being bad thing though. It's by no means a bad score, and a few of them are going to appear for any big title, critically acclaimed title.

Care to clarify how this trophy would help the developer in any way? If you've got the game, they already have your money. They won't really care about what you do with it afterwards.
He didn't say Gears of War 3 is the best game, but rather that it has the best score. Considering the reviews he mentioned were (mostly) written by different people, score isn't a measurement to go by.

Don't see how that's so strange, that Sony developed certain pieces of technology years ago. Companies develop and ditch a very large variety of technologies every year, and most of the technology we see today (Kinect, WiiMote, Dualshock Controllers, Sooner or later Virtual Reality, etc) have been developed at some point in the past, and ditched because they weren't financially feasible at the time.
While in remakes I could imagine that this would be up for debate, but if we're talking about new titles I would highly disagree that voice acting can in any way be a bad thing.

Not trying to nitpick here, but when he says "IO Performance" what is he really talking about? A computer has loads of IO devices, and they can't possibly all be bad?
Quite sure a Ps3 with an SSD wouldn't be considered poor IO performance in regards to hard disks, so I'm guessing he means BluRay? Though that's not really any worse than the speed of 360s DVD, although there's a lot of data to go through so I suppose it would have longer seek times...

Long passwords are often harder to guess than random crap.
Saving or writing your password down is not a very good choice, as saving would only require someone to gain access to your computer (remarkably easy), and writing it down would make life easy for a burglar.

Except that a game doesn't start loading better textures if it detects better hardware. Everything in a console game is static, with the exception of contrast levels, so any improvement you make to the hardware will be wasteful, because the game will not use it. The only thing it may improve, though not guaranteed, is output quality.
